After graduation in 1961 I attended Ohio State University for two years of undergraduate work. In the fall of 1963 I was accepted to Dental School at OSU, graduating in 1967.
My next "life" found me in the Army where I spent time at Fort Hood, TX. Then in Vietnam (April of '68 thru March of '69). Upon returning stateside I was stationed at the Yuma Proving Grounds near Yuma, AZ until I was released from active duty in January of '70.
I then got a job with the Veterans Administration's Wadsworth Hospital in West Los Angeles as Chief of Outpatient Dental Services. During this time I studied for and passed the California State Board exam in Dentistry and in the spring of 1973 I left the VA and went into Private Practice in Covina until I retired in 2008.
Since completing Dental School I have accumulated over three thousand hours of Continuing Dental Education. I have achieved a Mastership from the World Clinical Laser Institute and I am Chairman of their Certification Committee. I have also received Fellowships from the Academy of General Dentistry, where I serve on the national Dental Education Council, and one from the Academy of Dentistry International.
Marlene and I enjoy traveling, motorcycle touring, our Labradoodle and, most of all, our grandchildren. I also enjoy hunting and fishing
