I met Butch i think in the 4th grade and we became friends soon. he also stayd with me and my family from time to time and we had many adventures, especially in the summertime. He also traveled with me and my family to NC on vacation. He was a smart guy and worked for a local TV repair shop undoubtedly giving him a great background for his later work in industry and to think about his inventions. We were part of various clubs and Boy Scouts together....we weren't allowed to take radios on campouts, but Butch brough along his crystal radio set and we had some great tunes in the tenti late at night!. He and Breda visted us in CA in their RV and we had a great time remembering the old times and hearing about their adventures.

He was a great guy, a great friend and will be sorely missed.
