Sorry who missed last night at Bahama Breeze. Thank you Joyce for organizing the dinner. We are going to have a dinner in either Feb or March . An early 'HAPPY NEW YEAR'to my friends and classmates!! It has been an amazing gift to have heard from and be in touch with so many of you after 40 years!! I would have never, ever thought that such a wonderful thing would have happened for me.

It has been so interesting and so much fun catching up on life, laughing, remembering and being connected to my friends and classmates from Roosevelt and CHHS. What a measure of how life has passed and is now.

What I really want to say is; THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to Sandy, Louie, Rachelle, Rita, Bob, Scott, Jim P, Gracia, Joyce, Adrian and so many many others who have enriched me this year, simply by caring enough to be in touch with me. WOW, what a trip down memory lane and what a wonderful trip to keep taking in 2010.

Happy New Year to the CHHS class of 1969!! Let us live on in health, happiness and many good moments together in the new year.

Thanks to everyone, who came to dinner at Bahama Breeze for welcoming us into your group. My husband Don (who grew up in West Palm Beach)and did know anyone other than Louie and Kathleen...felt comfortable. We had a fantastic time and decided to come into town, twice a year, rather than once.

Today is January 2, 2010 and it is 38 degrees outside BRRRRRRRRR. This is winter in SW Florida. We have a freeze warning for tonight, it is expected to be below 32!!

While it is refreshing for me, I know it is colder and snowing a bit in Cleveland.

Saw an outstanding movie yesterday; 'Brothers' Whew, brings back memories of Vietnam and how if affected everyone. Tough movie to watch but incredibly well done!!

Hope everyone will do something fun this weekend while the time is available. Next week, it is back to the grind.!!

for those in the warmer parts of the country.... thanks for rubbing it in that we stayed here in Ohio....:) On our honeymoon we were in Calf. I said to Wendy lets move here.... She did not want to leave the city were her parents lived.... so 5 years later they went and moved to Mission Viejo...... go figure :)

SNOW, SNOW , and more SNOW. It hasn't stopped falling in days. Louie, I think you have alot more than us. We only probably have a foot . The driving is terrible and it is suppose to keep up all week. Oh well that is lake effect.

GOING DOWN TO 32 DEGREES TONIGHT !!!!!I had to go buy a blanket. My feet are sooooo cold!! The heat is on in the house. Not complaining because the heat of summer is unbearable sometimes.!! Again, no snow but VERY cccccold!

So, it is true that a lot of people move to Fla for the warm weather AND, it is winter here to!! We are having the longest cold snap that we have had in many years, 80 years I think I heard. Don't ever plan to come to Fla in
January, I have told people that for years!!

Now Cleveland folks. You got spared a ton of snow in December that those of us in New England got slammed with! There were several snowfalls when I called my family in Ohio and they said "Snow? We haven't had ANY yet."

It's just bitter cold here...but no new snow since Sunday. Hope what you have is NOT headed this way.
