This is something different . I signed up for a stem cell research program at Cleve. Clinic. for multiple sclerosis . I want more than anything for this to happen for me & my family.
However they are accepting only 24 people so I am asking for all of you who believe in the power of prayer or manifestation or whatever you believe in to please put it out there for me to help make this happen .

I just wanted to share with you my profile has been UPDATED to include life during and after our FABULOUS reunion! I'm very busy with an exciting new chapter of my life that is also scary for me. I am grateful for ALL of it, the good and the bad. I appreciate those of you who have shown your genuine support to me. It's been heartwarming.

I am also grateful for re-connecting with my best friend since elementary school (different schools but same street! I was in East Cleveland...wrong side of Avondale!) Susan. We used to double date ALL the time with my EX and her STILL! Our parents were even in Italy together having their first baby girls at the same time (before us of course) and once we reconnected, it was like there was never a 40 yr. void!! Except of course for all those kids!!

Thank you my old friends and new friends who are a genuine gift and support to me. May we all stay healthy and joyful!

I am so sorry to hear about the study. Their loss!! I'd still keep my hopes up for other research studies. I think if there's something for under 55, then there should be a study out there for OVER 55.
Have you checked other medical institutions like Mayo Clinic, Duke, Rochester, Chapel Hill, Harvard, etc?
Or pharma research companies like PPD? (PPD is based here in Wilmington, NC.) Or the drug companies themselves, like Pfizer, Merck-Medco, Amgen, etc?
I think that usually the medical research grants pay for the patients' travel. Try googling "MS research", etc.

The biggest difference between this week and last week is that now you KNOW you're willing to go into research trials! Good luck and keep us posted!!

The power of this class because of this forum is amazing. I want to everyone to know that your positive energy & prayers did work . Out of 400 people I was the first one called and there were two attempts to try to bend the rules to try to get me in the program . It appears they want healthy people with MS .Those who will be chosen... it was meant to be .AND I am still looking . Again Thank you and please still put it out there ,you are lifting me .
It was a big disappointment but whenever you are down & out the only way is up .
