Do you remember learning that our mothers were roommates at Mt. Sinai Hospital when we were born?
I was born at 4:36 am (9/7). What time were you born?
I think that means that I haven't known any living person as long as I've known you.

Steven, I always remembered you were in Mrs Block's 4th grade class with me. Yes, I remember we dated and I was your prom date. You got together with Wendy after high school.

Well, to all you cat-lovers out there:

We currently have two of our dogs and one grand-dog living with us. We had a wonderful and beautiful 15 year-old cat who has usually slept on the bed and slept on my hip when I slept.
She is no longer a wonderful and beautiful cat, although she still lives with us and still tries to sleep on my hip when I sleep.
She just learned two weeks ago to pee on the bed. I was blaming the pee on the grand-dog until she saturated me while I was sleeping during the day last week (I work nights.) She and I are still working out our differences.

I originally DIDN’T think it was Friskie, the cat, because the urine has not had a “cat urine odor”, seemed to be a larger amount (50# dog quantity vs. 7.5# cat quantity), and started shortly after grand-dog moved in.
Because it didn't have any of that "cat odor", I doubt if it's an infection, but she has her annual exam in 1 ½ weeks.

However, I think you're onto something regarding when the grand-dog moved … late December. The dynamics of the household pets definitely changed.

I had written a book, but we can all write books about our families and pets.

Anne- when you find a solution to the "cat pee" issue, please pass along- I have one too. Nothing wrong, have had her checked several times. She does it when she is "mad" at us or stressed. It is really annoying!
Children may "wet the bed" but at least it is their bed, not mine!

We had a cat who did her thing on our carpet... When we replace the carpet we used Marine shellac on the floor...
We loved that cat.....12 years after her death we sometimes see her walking in the house....

i have 2 dogs and yes every once in while they will pee or crap on the floor but you cant blame them if we arent home to let them out. but a cat you have a box use it or lose it
