On another note...our daughter just received and accepted a Peace Corps appointment. She will be teaching secondary school science in Rwanda. Her U.S. orientation takes place October 19 and 20. She departs for Rwanda on October 21. We are very excited for her...and she is thrilled to have received this appointment.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts on my families lost. Mom lived a good life and died in her sleep. Wendy and I had a very good visit on Thursday, and that night Mom had enough of this life and went where each of us will go at some time in the future...

Thank you all for your kind thoughts on my family lost… Mom was the type of Jewish Mom who fed anyone who came to the house. Both Jack and I have school friends who remember going home not hungry. I was very lucky to have her as long as I did….

Just a note about my BAHA ear implant.... It will be early december before I get the box that allows it to work.... BUT if I click it with my finger I can hear it on my deaf side....
