1975 Was A Bang Up Blow Up Year Literally !
Nancy, Arianne (Daughter) and I saw a new movie selected for small release Nationaly.. "Kill The Irishman" last night at 3rd street in Santa Monica CA ... loved it ! It is all about the old school Cleveland Mafia days (1975) (takes place in Cleveland) Shonder Burns (Jewish), John Nardie (Italian) and Danny Green (Irish) hence being "Kill the Irishman" title of movie ! Did you know that Cleveland was in 1975 the number 1 place in the country for car bombing ? Wow ! While Nancy and I were living in SF CA (worked for Epic/CBS Records) and in the middle of the Hate Ashberry movement Milkin Etc. Cleveland was being blown up ...literally ? Wow ..My dad Burton Newman along with Mushy Wexler and Shonder Burns started the Theatrical Grill witch was also mentioned in the movie. The picture of me in the upper right hand corner with the crowed was before all hell broke out! ... Michael Jackson in-store gone wrong (Had no idea ...Me Smiling before all hell broke loose) turned into a riot ...was at Hate Ashberry and in 1975 ..WOW
