Great website!! Thanks to whoever did it. I am eternally grateful to those who take the reins and put this stuff together. BRAVO!!

I agree. I think this website is great. With not living in Cleveland anymore, I hope to maybe get in touch with some old classmates and find out what they have been up to after all these years.

I remember SO few of you, and I bet that none of you remember me. I was very shy and self-isolated in high school, and our high school environment was not good for me. I'm much better now, thank you!

Here's where my heart is these days -- I helped to make this video happen. The loves of my life in those days were the Beatles and the Moody Blues. Now I can say that a former member of the Moodies is one of my friends!

Hey Janice, I remember being the first Jewish person you ever met... Marlene Fischer and I sat with you at lunch at Roosevelt! It was "weird" for us too!!!! Hope to see you at the reunion!

I agree with Adrienne! This had to take a lot of thought and hard work. Just putting all of our names in the system had to take awhile!! Thank you so much. I am still lucky to be in touch with a few of my high school friends - they are lifetime friends for me. I do look forward to seeing a lot of those who I have lost touch with however next year!!

Hi, all! I'm having so much fun checking in to see who's signed up and who will be attending next year. I hope we'll see people who've missed other reunions; after all, we're getting closer to our 50th!

Hi, I too, am enjoying looking back and thinking about Heights, from a safe distance. I'm looking forward to the reunion, and I'm really impressed with what other people are doing with their lives.

Sylvia, great site! I got the notice from Gary Ackerman and I have spent the afternoon sending it on to a dozen of my own contacts (It takes all afternoon because I added too many personal notes) By the way, everybody can and should pass the word to the 150-some class members listed on Facebook.

I, too, enjoy this website as a means to reconnect to the class of 7-0. I've learned a lot about several of you through the Classmate-Profiles link and the private e-mail option. Even if our e-mails are few and far between, going back nearly 40 years in my memories is a great way to fritter away time! Susan

On July 11 2009 - two months from now - Bob Dylan will be at Classic Park in Eastlake, with Woody Nelson and John Mellencamp. Can't we move up the reunion?
It would be an added draw. "39 year reunion -WE CAN"T WAIT!"I would come from a long distance to hear them sing along with the Heights Choir.

I'd like to add my thanks too. This is a great tool and I'm having a blast checking in to see who has added their profile to the list. I'm really hoping that we'll be able to track down some of the people who haven't made it to past reunions. Hope to see you all soon.

So, my question is. . . are we doing anything else besides the Saturday night party (which will be GREAT, I'm sure). Seems to me that if we want people to come in from out of town, we need to get together informally on Friday night, and a chance to see the school (Sat or Sun) would be great, as well. ANy thoughts?

I wanted to thank you for this website and share a story showing how it really is a small world. Linda Berger lived about 10-15 houses away from me when I lived in Cleveland Heights. We both attended Roosevelt Jr. High and Heights High, occasionally walking to school together as well as sharing some classes. Upon seeing her profile, I learned she lives perhaps 10 minutes away from me, here in GA! We've both been here approximately the same number of years, and may have crossed paths during that time. We plan to meet for coffee soon. How fun!

I like Andrea's idea of a Friday night gathering. I'm not certain I can attend the Saturday evening party, because I may need to travel on the 3rd to be at a relative's gathering on the 4th...

I decided to trace my roots with high school classmates after being contacted on Classmates.com. Its exciting to recognize the names of people I lived with for three years. Thanks for putting this website together.

Great website. This has opened up a whole new world of contacts. Poo on facebook-this is so kewl! I remember one way staircases. Did I just date myself?!!! I also remember the 2 buses to take home-"A" and "B". We had to walk across the street to catch them.Have our kids ever taken a bus? Having a car in high school was unheard of. Today they have assigned parking spots. Teachers never wore pants, and students had strict regulations. My homeroom was 001. It was in the basement! Good times. I still feel like I was an insecure mess!

This is really fun! I'd like a classmates-only Friday night gathering, too. We've done it before, and the vibe is just very different, more casual than the Saturday, more dinner/dance feeling. There's got to be a bar or something with a patio that we could sort of informally take over . . .
