I've found about 190 or so of us on Facebook and over 400 on classmates.com and have slowly been notifying them & requesting they rsvp to this site. So check it out and see if there's anyone you know.

This is so crazy! I've always remembered that Robert Frost poem, but never remembered when I first read it....it must have been that 10th grade English class! Also, I, too, am a breast cancer survivor; I've often wondered how many of our classmates have gone through it.

Sadly, too many of us have experienced one type of cancer or another, and several of our classmates have died. I feel very fortunate to be sitting at this computer writing, as do many of you.

How cool to see so many names I recognize. I never was one to lead. I admire how you all pull things together.
Thanks Marcie for the contact, and Barbara, Nadine. I think of some of our crazy times.

I am in agreement with Nadine..I'm traveling in from Arizona and would love for this to be a weekend thing. It's been such a long time that everyone has been together....With ow quickly the years are passing, I know that trying to see everyone and getting reaquainted in one evening wouldn't be enough time for me...........We would all just be getting comfortable with each other and getting over our " senior moments"..............

Just wanted to say that many of us are also on Facebook and have connected as 'Friends' on that site. I have a few classmates on Facebook who are now my "Farmer Neighbors" on there... Check out Farmville on Facebook... it is quite addictive to grow a farm! Ha Ha

Nadine, that probably was me you saw at the Eagles. I've seen several Heights folks there. I probably didn't see you, or didn't recognize you. Say hello next time you see me!!

July 2nd---at Acacia country club! it will be a blast, as they are opening up the patio for us which overlooks a lush, green golf course... and we can stay as late as we want.....get ready to talk the night away... or whatever else you have in mind.

Thanks to the 40th reunion committee! I've plugged back into our "glory days" and begun to catch up with friends long gone but never to be forgotten. I'm psyched for our reunion and know that we'll look like we just stepped out of our CHHS caps and gowns. Not! (-: See all you cool cats soon.

Hard to believe that 40 years is upon us. Any way I agree with Roger F. that a function on Friday night would be great. Nitetown anyone?!

Hello. I just wanted to notify all of our classmates that a very good friend of mine, also one of our classmates, is running for Family Court Judge in Cuyahoga County. I wish more people would take the time to post pictures. Part of the fun of it all is in seeing what we look like today, especially for those not attending the reunion. I can't say enough about the experience it has been in reading about what we, as a class, have accomplished after graduation.

Once again, I'll encouage everyone to expand your profiles and include photos if possible.

Happy Valentine's Day to all! :-)

Saw your email regarding memories of junior high.... One which made me laugh out loud is from Monticello Jr. High when Mr. Cuthbert (science teacher) acted as chaperone for one of the dances, and brought his stunning knockout of a blond wife with him. Brother, were barely-pubescent hormones raging then!!! Monticello Cardinals, getting smacked by the medicine ball in phys. ed., Mr. Burin's math class (and I had to be the dimmest bulb of them all - I still don't understand story problems and Illinois math...) my parents getting other parents and faculty to participate - on stage - in the Icicle Revues. Remember the all male parent-teracher Ballet Rust de Monticello? priceless. I have the pictures in case this recession gets really bad and I need to sell them.....only kidding. I also remember the trip to Dearborn in 8th grade and Washington DC in 9th grade. Lots of fun. Jeannie Tyler

Anyone from Wiley remember Mr. McCullough?j He taught Social Studies. He had a metal plate in his head & when the bell rang he would hold his head to prevent vibrating, I guess. Many of us girls had Jingle Rings (remember those?) & would shake our hands to drive him nuts..............we were cruel, I know. I also remember Mr. M feeding the birds, so he was probably a nice guy who didn't deserve his mean female students

Sorry Mr. McCullough.

I also remember that class as being the 1st opportunity to view Sue Kramer (redhead) when she cut her ponytail off!
