Howard Kass Kass

Went to Kent State - an interesting place to be during the Vietnam war. Ironically, I was eventually partners with the uncle of one of the KSU shooting victims.

I took a lot of photos there - anti-war protests, rock concerts, a train derailment. Photography blossomed as a passion of mine and have been a serious hobbyist for over 50 years.

Graduated with an accounting degree, became a CPA, eventually became the tax partner at Zinner & Co. in Beachwood, OH. I retired from there at the end of 2018.

Following about six months of retirement, I joined the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program as a Business Advisor. This is a terrific, free, program that teaches small business owners how to grow and manage their business more effectively. This as been a very rewarding experience for me.

Working on the yearbook really fueled my interest in photography. Had a great time doing that.
