For the most part, I'm simply "winging it" in attempting to get the site going and friendly. So, I need some help here, from all y'all. Anyone care to respond? Thanks, I know I can count on you!

Kent, done a great job with photos. All the women are good looking, all the men are strong and all the children are above average. YeeHaw! We're a good looking class of folks don't you think? Good looking, smart, rich, all the right stuff. YeeHaw again!

Hi Kent, Really appreciate the pictures. I wasn't at the reunion and am having some trouble identifying some of my classmates. I do appreciate your work....hope you stay with it. Many thanks. Gloria Griffin Garretson

You know, Jerry, I was thinking the very same thing. With all the gray hair or no hair, we men are hard to beat across the board. And the women, wow, such beauty, such grace, such accomplishments, all of 'em. THE Class of 64, ain't no betta!

And Gloria, you are among several who have expressed the same sentiments of not recognizing a lot of folks. In the next few days, I'll return periodically to put names with faces on top of the pics, or at the bottom, somewhere.

Kent

Keep 'em rolling Kent, you're doing a great job. We all need to prod our classmates to update and participate in this website. There is no better way to to keep up with or contact one another. We had 19 present at our '64 CHS Central MS breakfast meeting here in Madison yesterday Oct. 24th.Jimmy and Sandra got some pictures and one was with us all posing by Kirk Hill's 1914 (I think)Model 'T'. That photo needs to be on the web site.

Greetings All: I sure like this site better than Facebook. In fact I need to mention what a time J Boyd has had with someone hacking his account! I would much rather email y'all than the entire world. Just wish more of us would get in the habit of checking here first. Kent has put a lot of hard work into this and remember what a wonderful time we all had at the reunion ? This could become an extension of that day. The reunion was too short I did not get a chance to visit with everyone.
Lets keep in touch better.

Well, 2010 is here. Just wondered how many of us-back in 1964-even thought that we would see the year 2010. We all have seen some pretty amazing things in our lifetime. Oh, by the way, remember the time when "Talkie movies" were a big hit???? If you want to see how far movies have come, take the opportunity to go see AVATAR in 3D. If you have an IMAX theater, all the better. I thought the movie was excellent. It show man's insensitivity (Sort of the same way we took the USA from the American Indian. The conquest of the big corporations quest for profit (the mineral rights). The
conflict between Corp. greed and science. And lastly, a pretty neat love story. Happy New Year to all and may GOD gradle your in his arms and protect and bless each of you.

A thought-provoking message, Rodney. I don't think I thought about much beyond getting out of CHS that night in Walter Sillers Coliseum when Bill Alexander addressed us. I looked at the clock high on the wall and it was 7:35 p.m., and I recall thinking "when will this all be over." Man has time flown. Now that I am 64, I wonder more about and pray that - similar to your note - that "God will continue to bless us and cradle us in His arms."

I can relate to your comment Jody. All I thought of is When will this thing end. Rodney I put together my first avitor(avatar) in 1996 and I never dreamed someone would take it to the limits of this movie. If you can find a link to how Cameron put the movie together and how some of the graphics are incorporated into the movie it is amazing! Thank God for minds with imaginenation.

I've been trying to schedule a trip up to Kentucky and Illinois. I want to see and photograph some ice on the Mississippi River and will probably go to Fort Defiance at the confluence of the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers to do some of this. I always get a little shaky when I go over the Ohio River on that narrow and steep arched bridge just north of Wycliff KY. Add a little ice on the cement and it is a really great effort to stay off the siderails and out of the other lane of oncoming 18-wheelers. Most everyone has the decency to go slow.

Speaking of going slow: I have a birthday coming up. I hope I get to see it. JERRY

Kent, great job on the new website, it's awesome! Not to mention it's also easy for techno failures to use.

Thanks,

Hello everyone. As a proud grandfather who is strutting around with his chest poked out- -I have to post this.

My grandson is a tiger cub scout. At the Pinewood Derby
races he placed 1st in the Tiger class and 1st overall out of 74 cars. Most of all, everyone (parents and scouts) had a great time and enjoyed the hot dogs, chips, and sodas. After all scouting is all about the boys and having fun. Isn"t it great to live in America.

I really appreciate all you are doing to make a go of the web site.  As you can see from the states statistics, I am alone here in MO.

Thanks for keeping us together and informed.
