I'm saddened to hear about Katrina's passing. I don't really remember many folks from my HS, but Katrina was memorable. She was so kind and genuine. Before we started saying " her spirit", she epitomizes that phrase. I would see her occasionally before I left Cleveland and she was the same loving caring wonderful person. Really liked her.

So unpredictable what path of life one travels.  I met Chance at Nathan Hale, he was a BB star then and very confident.  We got into a mini fight on the playground while playing ball, I was new to he school, so I just held him off and he let it go, whew.  Fast forward and I run into Chance at the rehab my mother was in, consequently I got a lot of time to talk with him about what he was into and his goals, even though he couldnt even walk at the time.  He was still so confident about reaching those goals and learning how to walk again.  He made progress and when he was released I thought we would work togeher.  You never know...........Unpredictable.

First day I saw him, my first day at Nathan Hale, October, 9 grade.  Im walking down the hall, toward him and the crew.  He asks me for a pencil, I give him one, Charllie drops it and stomps my pencil to smithereens and keeps walking.  LOL .  Obviously I never forgot who he was...

Rodney, like others, I first saw him at Audobon in the 7th grade, I was like why is this grown man going to classes with us.  He always had something to say, always!  He would talk about everybody and everything, never mean just funny......I'm sad as I dont think I ever had an opportunity to chat with him after graduation.  I didnt realize he died in 89.
