My favorite memory from this trip:  There are too many moments to choose from!!  The neighborhood children playing on the job site, talking to a little girl who loved Justin Beiber (some things are universal), staying at a hotel near the local football (soccer) club, the way that Brazilian restaurants serve their beer ICE cold!  How I never thought I could push a wheelbarrow full of cement but did, visiting a cassava mill and seeing how hard the local women worked for such a small amount of money, dealing with random livestock (cows, chickens, goats) running around on the work site, and mostly falling in love with the Global Village Program.
