A few years ago at the class of 64 reunion where they invited the classes of 63 and 65 (good idea), Hershel Noonkester provided everyone with a CD music mix from that era, our era.

So, I am on my way out the door and will be listening to that CD for a couple hundred miles to get me in the mood, as if I need that. I am pretty jacked about this weekend.

If you notice me Saturday night tapping my toes and bobbing my head, thank you Hershel. Or, it might be the scotch. See you guys.

Mike, funny you mentioned Frank Anderson.  I retired as VP of Human Resources from Citrus College after 28 years.  Frank Anderson was one of our football coaches at Citrus.  Unfortunately, he passed away about a year ago.  He actually was a very nice man.

So funny that I would end up working in the same institution as one of our high school teachers/coaches.  Citrus College in Glendora, California - Southern California.  Been down here since 1964. 

Thanks all, for all the comments -- takes me down memory lane.  Wish I could attend the Reunion, but timing is a funny thing.

Jean, you mentioned timing being a funny thing and prohibiting your attendance at the reunion.  I hope that we will get enough interest in class gatherings to be able to do this again before too many years pass.  Toss out ideas via the forum, encourage others who might not make it to Clovis this week to jump in too.   Ideally, we can get more of the class registered and sharing information on this page, or through Classmates and Facebook, and build a network of folks who'd like to reconnect and stay in touch in the future.  There are lots of our classmates on Classmates.com and several more on Facebook that have noticed our page.  If you visit Classmates the link is http://www.classmates.com/places/school/Clovis-High-School/1865?year=1963 and on Facebook our page is https://www.facebook.com/ClovisHigh50thReunion?ref=hl.

The more I read on here the sadder. Am not to be going this year. I'm sure you'll all have a blast!  Thinking back to Sierra vista, then Weldon, then. Covis high...I agree with whoever said it...they were some of the best years of my life as well!

I can't imagine how it could have been better!  It was awesome to see old friends and catch up with acquaintances from long years ago.  What a terrific class we had!  Thanks to everyone who came and thanks to the committee that's been at it for two years making it happen, as well as Hershel Noonkester for keeping it rolling along all night!  Looking forward to the next one!

So many memories!  Cannot count the number of times I said, " Remember the time?"  

Huge thanks and congratulations to the reunion committee for an amazing event.  The laughs and tears were priceless. 

Hoping to get a few emails from folks to keep in touch.  Ever in the Bay Area, would love to see you.

How can we get copies of photos?  Louise?  Robert?  Was a group picture taken?  I had to leave early.

Patti, sadly we did not get a group picture.  I can email the collection that Louise did, she got some great shots.  I'm so glad you made it!  What it was, even more than anticipated.  We are truly blessed with the great class we had!

What a great evening!  I went from table to table and groups of classmates standing and talking and joined in.  Looking back over the evening, time just flew.  I will have to stay in touch with you all.  And of course, future reunions must be in no more than two year increments.  In my family, my siblings and I are now the 'older generation'.  It appears that time has been good for our class of '63.  Keep those profiles current and I will drop into the site from time to time to check on you.

We all had a great time, even the spouses seemed to enjoy themselves.  It was great to see you all and let's keep in touch with what's happening in our worlds.  It was disheartening to see so many on the memory list.  I hope we get together soon!

It turned out to be a wonderful evening .  I hope we do not wait for another 10 years to pass to all get together again.

It was just so much fun!! 

In the clean up stage of the evening  I found a silver book left on a table.  It has signatures of classmates.

Does anyone remember who had this book floating around..?

 Some signatures in it are John Moore, Louise Ward, Fidel, Candy,Martha Yoshida and more...  

I lost an envelope with my name on it with two pictures that were given to me by my friend Kathy Matteson Beauchamp...  Did anyone find it?

Tamara,  An envelope was found and given to Delores, and we gave to Diane.  It had some shots of me, Delores, Pat, Diane and Sharon Ricci.  A shot of you with two chihua-hua dogs.  Your hair in pony tail.  We dropped it by the biscotti house.  Hope you locate.  I took very few pictures ( too busy yakking) so if anyone posts stuff, would appreciate.
