I had a great time too! You guys worked so hard, and it was such a wonderful event! I didn't hear one complaint.
Everyone seems eager to want to do it again soon, so let's start planning. I'll be happy to help, and I know others will also.
If you haven't gotten on Facebook, consider doing so. Lots of us are already on, and once you sign up and enter your high school info, it'll take you to us, or you can search. If you are concerned about privacy, you have a lot of control over that.
Lots of pictures coming soon! :D Take special care & God bless!

Seeing you all reminded me of the feelings I had at graduation.....you all know it. Your friends say they'll call but you know they won't. You promise your teachers you'll keep in touch, but you know you won't. In a while it won't really matter, but right now it hurts a little. Whatever road you travel from this point on, know it can also lead you home. Thank you all for leading us home.

Classmates,
First of all, I want to thank each of you for your participation, which was a crucial part in making our 30th class reunion the success that it was. I really appreciate all the kind words of thanks from all of you; however just seeing the look of excitement on everyone faces really touched my heart in a way that cannot be described in words.
I have played key roles in planning a lot of events over the years, but nothing have giving me the sense of accomplishment similar to what I felt after reuniting with all of you. I put a lot of time and effort working with an incredible team; it was a lot of fun as well and I would not hesitate to do it all over again. Having the opportunity to work with Josephine especially was an awesome experience. As I look back on the planning of the reunion from start to finish; I will say that working with Josephine was one of the finest examples of leadership that I have ever experienced. She is very professional; she has vision and excellent organizational skills. Most of all she displayed the necessary passion that kept the team motivated throughout the entire planning phase.

Josephine,
Thank you for your efforts.

Elijah, I just have to say that I know you really feel that way about seeing those faces and that sense of accomplishment, because I saw that look on your face so many times! You looked like someone watching their kids play with a friend on the monkey bars!

You, Josephine, Ronna, Donna, Shirley, on and on, the committees, you all worked so hard on this, and it really showed. YA'LL ROCK!! :D I've been to lots of events over these years, and it just was the best, happiest one I've been to, and I know many people said the same thing. I heard someone say that maybe everyone was just ready to get together, and maybe that's true.

I hope that the ones that couldn't come this time will be encouraged to make the next get-together because they will hear about this one and what fun it was.

Seems like the enthusiasm is there to get even more help putting it on next time... but you guys have set the bar pretty high... :D Kim

First of all let me say it was great to see all of you that were there Friday night. I hate so much that I got sick and couldn't make it Saturday night, I really missed it! Everyone looks good! 30 years have treated us all well! The golf outing was fun! THANK YOU! Elijah and John know what that is for. 2009 has been a hard year for me for many reasons but one of the best times of this year was getting to see all of you. THANK YOU! To all of you that worked so hard to make it happen! May GOD bless you all!

Hello all, Due to my sons wedding I was not able to attend the reunion. I wish I could have been there. It sounds like I missed a great reunion. Thanks to all the ones who made this possible and I'm glad there was a good turnout. Hopefully I can attend the next one. I have enjoyed being able to read all the info, speeches and messages on this site. I hope to see some of the pictures also. Take care.

The reunion was so much fun! Even though we haven't seen each other in 30 years it felt like I was right back in high school. I'd forgotten what the people in our class meant to me in 1979, but now I remember. It's wonderful to reconnect in this way. Can't wait to do it again. Thanks so much to all who had a role in putting it together.
