Tammy L. Calhoun, 45, passed away on September 26, 2016. The daughter of Linda R. Dunn, she was born on February 21, 1971, in Albany. She was graduate of Colonie High School and Siena College. Tammy was the youngest Miss Teen New York State, being crowned at the age of 14. She was previously an outside technician for Verizon, where she made many long lasting friendships. Tammy was an avid Washington Redskins fan and never missed one of their games. She was predeceased by her brother, Pete Calhoun and her sister, Tina Dunn. In addition to her mother, Tammy is survived by her children, Emily, Christian and TJ. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 4, at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private. Memorial donations may be made in Tammy's name to the Blessed Sacrament Food Pantry, 607 Central Ave, Albany, NY 12206.
