Richard J. Keegan Jr., 46 years young, entered eternal life on Sunday, March 4, 2018, suddenly at home. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Richard and Colleen Welch Keegan. Richard was a 1989 graduate of Colonie High School. He enjoyed the New York Giants, cards and fishing. He was the dear father of Ryan Keegan; longtime companion of Amber Kornacki, Ryan's mother; brother of Kimberly Keegan, Melissa Keegan; survived by many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Richard's family on Thursday, March 8, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Lasak & Gigliotti Funeral Home, 208 North Allen St., Albany. Funeral services, Friday, March 9, at 8:15 a.m. in the Lasak & Gigliotti Funeral Home, thence to Blessed Sacrament Church, Albany at 9 a.m. where his funeral Mass will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal will be held in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands, immediately following the Mass.
