Well, the Army didn't work out- bad ankle, discharge after basic training. I tried a variety of jobs over the years (sales, banking, retail management, insurance adjusting) but I prefer working in human services. I thought I was going to become a mental health therapist, but ended up as a high school teacher (would anyone who knew me back in high school believe there was any chance of that?!). I love my job, not many people can honestly say that. Until recently, I worked for Kennedy Krieger, but I recently switched to Anne Arundel County Public Schools and I'm thinking about moving into administration. I completed my masters degree in 2013 in curriculum and instruction with additional coursework in educational administration.

I lived for several years in and around Baltimore but I have been living in the Annapolis area for a few years. I absolutely love Annapolis, but I may move back to Baltimore (relatively inexpensive), Columbia, or pick up and move to Virginia in a few years.

I have managed to keep in touch with a few of my old high school friends who are now some of my closest friends. Lost touch with many I would have liked to keep in touch with, so I am certainly open to hearing from anyone who wants to drop me a note.

Hmm, somehow most of my high school memories are a bit blurry. I had a ball most of the time, there are a ton of memories, mostly good. Some are not suitable for a family site, others were pretty tame. I guess I had a pretty normal high school experience.

I especially loved the Soviet Union trip and I'm still grateful to the choir for putting up with my talentless self so I could go along.

Being a high school teacher, it is interesting what memories my students can bring back. I miss my old friends at WLHS, and all of those who were part of the experience. It was a good time. Thanks for everything.
