Russell Valentine

I received my Bachelor's Degree from UMBC, my Master's Degree from Bowie State University and my Admistration Certificate from Towson University. I'm now working as an Assistant Principal at Parkville High School. I have been in that position since July of 2001. I also teach a course at Towson University and I spend the majority of my free time with my wife and kids. We hang out with family and we love to travel.

1. Our advisor group where Mr. Nyk allowed us to breakdance for the class/and any passerby every other day. On the opposite day, he allowed us to use the desks and chairs to form a go-go band for the same audience.
2. House Patry's were crazy!
3. Going to the village at lunch.
4. I can't believe we had boxing matches in the locker room during lunch shifts, with 30 guys and teachers had no idea.
5. Pep Rallys where guys dressed as cheerleaders.
6. The Charlie Brown (a classic). If you don't know what it is, you better ask somebody.
7. Hanging on the railings between classes.
8. Open space classrooms. College was the frist time I ever experienced closed space classrooms.
9. Football games.
10. The whole school was like one big family.
