Rose Marie Kuerbiss Poole

After WA I went to EMC and then to Nursing School at Hinsdale, IL. I graduated from there in 1962, worked there for a year and married Chuck August 25, 1963. We have three Children and five grandchildren. We lived in Michigan until 1984 and then moved to Florida. Our children all live near us here in Florida.

Chuck still works in Construction some and we farm our citrus groves, blueberries, strawberries, pineapples, and various other things.

My hobbies are photography, traveling, scrap booking (picture albums) and gardening.

In the last ten years Chuck and I have embarked on a new adventure. We started going on Mission trips to Central and South America with our church and Maranatha International. Chuck is the construction coordinator and I am usually involved with food, helping with construction and vacation Bible school. We have been to Honduras and Costa Rica in Central America, and Peru and Ecuador in South America, on about 7 different trips. We have been blessed as we have helped build churches and schools.

We love traveling and have been on a couple of cruises, and have found them to be great fun.

The things I get the biggest kick out of remembering of my time at WA is social holidays for having too much contact with the opposite sex and trying to work the cafeteria lines so we could sit with our boyfriends or girlfriends. But all in all those years were some of the best of times.

We had some very special faculty and the neat thing is that they are dear friends today.
