I went to junior high, Shenandoah, with Sam. He won best student of the year the year we graduated. I would see Sam at Gables all the time and I was in a class with him my first year at the U of M. Sam and I would sit next to each other and talk. Anyway one day he said watch Ed Sullivan I will be on Sunday night, And sure enpugh there was Sam playing his tuba in the Dixieland band he played at on weekends in Miami Beach to make extra money, Later that year Sam said watch again and again Sullivan had that Dixeiland band on. Yes Sam did great things with that tuba and played all kinds of music. But 2 performances on Sullivan as a  freshman in college. That is really outstanding.

I saw you are a Georgia Bulldog. I just want to say and a huge financial success. You have rethought how many things are marketed while employing many people and making your customers happy they bought something you developed.. You did this without the benefit of Harvard or Yale and yet you remained a Liberal, while still graduating from a very Southern conservative school. You are an interesting contradiction. Happy Birthday again.

Hello Dick,
Thank you for the Happy Birthday. All is well. We stay at home more than ever now days, like so mnay others. I wanted to tell you something you may or may not remember. We had a friend in Boy Scouts. Joey Wenzel went to Auburndale with us and was and is still a cut up, funny guy. Well he and I were born on the same day same hospital. He lives in Cananda and is doing fine if you remember him. He ended up at Miami High. We call each other each year to see how we are. Take care be safe.
