Becky Bargman (Odvody) We might actually have a bonfire Sat. night...details to come. For those of you making hotel arrangements, I think it is a safe bet to say we will stay in or around Crete Sat. night. I can't see many people being in any shape to drive to Lincoln.

Dana Boulter (Bird) I second Briana's comment on the grilling. Hard to do while holding or chasing down kids. Are we doing a potluck on Sunday, or are we all to bring our own meat to grill and a dish to contribute.

Paul Heusinkvelt On Saturday night I am willing to host a bonfire at the old Heusy House. It can easily fit everyone and we can have music with our own DJ/Karoake machine. Let me know if this sounds fun. The house is out in the country, east about 8 miles. It always was a lot of fun!

Erin Wittstruck (Miller) I can honestly say I thought my days of partying at the Heusinkvelt house were over! lol (I just had to think real hard how to spell your last name.) That pond is still the only place I have ice skated! :) Obviously it didn't go well!

John Burns It seems as if the message forum has slowed down. No one has much to say. Are we all planning on having the bon fire? Will we be needing to bring anything? BYOB I presume?

I was hoping that a Heusinkvelt, Hollman, Younger, or Muff would get on here and push forward the bonfire idea! Paul, many thanks!!! as my attendance at bonfires is what prohibits me from remembering much of high school :) I think that Saturday night sounds great! I will not be a part of the beer drinking as there is a rumor it does not do the best of things for the unborn, but definitely down for the bonfire.

Paul Heusinkvelt It is no problem having the bonfire. Let's make it BYOB so John and Zach don't have to supply it all. I am sure some Kess and Dr. Pepper will be in attendence. I will have a DJ machine there with a Mic. if anyone is up for singing. Mom gave us permission to have a lot of fun. She might be in attendance also. Sorry, but at least it will be legal this time!

Dana Boulter (Bird) OK, nobody shoot me, but will there be any non-alcoholic beverages among the beer? Some of us have to try to keep you party animals in check. HA! :) Paul it's all good if your mom is there. She's gracious enough to have the entire class come to her house, "reliving" the good old days.

Is Mcfarland going to be there? I don't think I have been to a Heusy bonfire without him. Years in a row: 1995 through well most likely current. Just kidding. As far as the music is concerned with a DJ and mic...what you couldn't book Matt Johnson's car for a guest appearance? Back the car to the fire, pop the trunk and unleash the 12" subs. These are all bonfire activities that I don't think I can do without. I think it will be a good time and just let me know if I can do anything to help.

Paul Heusinkvelt There would also have to be Cory Witt. there to rev his motor to gain attention from the LADIES along with someone doing some fire jumping. All great events that probably won't happen. Just some good old clean fun!

Michelle Koepp It is usually either hard to find football tickets or when you do find them they are pretty pricey but it would be great if anyone has some connections to get tickets. Only 3 days till the first game. I can not wait!!!

Emily Fink (Gutz)

I just talked to my husband and he can probably get some tickets if some people want to go. He and my brother-in-law both played for the Huskers so they are going to make some phone calls and find out how many they can get and how much they would be for sure. Unfortunatley he won't be able to get the whole 1998 class in for free so they'll probably be around $50/per person. I'll let you know for sure when I find out more.
