What exactly are the plans sat night? Food and drinks at the golf course, then off to Heusies house?

Directions, contact info?

Becky - Jeff and I have several coolers you can use. We will plan on bringing three extra coolers to Paul's on Saturday night or if you need them sooner let me know.

As far as the game goes we'll each pay $15 too, but I'm not up for colleting all the money, maybe we can take up a collection on Friday night and see what we come up with.

They can order the game last minute at the country club, so even if we do not get the money together until sometime Saturday we would be fine. Hell we could make it a game time decision. And by the way it really is $400 so they are not trying to screw us, in case you were wondering.

Didn't we have some sort of time capsule thing the school buried out in Tuxedo Park?? What ever happened with that??

09/10/08 12:37 PM #103

Erin Wittstruck (Miller)

Did we do a time capsule? I don't remember doing that and quite honestly not sure I want to know what's in it if we did! :)

Emily Fink (Gutz)

Maybe I'm loosing it but for some reason I remember doing a time capsule. ????

Anyways....I really want to get the game Saturday so I will organize getting money that night since we are able to order it last minute. If you can have your money in an ENVELOPE W/ YOUR NAME WRITTEN ON IT when you arrive that would be very helpful. If we don't collect enough I will distrubute everyones money back to them.
Thanks!

Cathy, if you could bring those coolers to the country club around 5 that would be great. I just need something to keep pop in for dinner. You could give them to me or Janna before that, too, if you can't come that early. Thanks so much!

Cathy Novak (Hollman)

No problem!

I think collecting the money that night is a good idea. I would really like to watch the game as well.

Is the bonfire party SET at Heusies house after the game saturday night?

09/11/08 11:04 AM #109

Paul Heusinkvelt

No matter the weather we can still go to the house or in the shed. I know it is calling for rain but it is Nebraska weather, you never know. I am in for the game also. I think $400 is a huge price to pay for a PPV. I think we are getting ripped off but if everyone is game I am too. I will give directions out to the house on Saturday night. I can't beleive you can't remember the Heusy House. I would bring snacks if you want something to munch on and bring your kids if you want to watch them. It makes me no difference. If anyone has questions please feel free to give me a call. 402-525-3895 Yes, still my same number from high school. I will not be there Friday night because I coach High School Football, so I will see you bright and early Satuday morning.

Jessica Underwood (Johnson)

Okay, so I am clarifying this (the hubby would like to know about the game). We cannot make it on Friday night, but if we all pitch in on Saturday night that will be early enough to order the game?

09/11/08 06:00 PM #111

Chad Heusinkvelt

My understanding is the game can be ordered at any time. So I hope we have enough cash.

09/11/08 10:59 PM #112

Paul Heusinkvelt

If you want to watch the game bring $15 extra dollars to the dinner, find Emily, then if we have enough money they can order the game for us. We can order the game even if they have started to play. Just remember to bring enough cash to have fun with too....

Janna Hansmeyer (Cooley)

Grant's mom has the time capsule in her attic, and I believe Grant is retrieving that for us to open on Saturday night.

Sorry Paul but I had to laugh a little reading your posting just now. I'm glad you clarified the game situation for everyone. You can definately tell you are a teacher now!!

If anyone is interested in golfing tomorrow, just plan on meeting at the golf course at noon.

Where did you all go Saturday night???? I wasn't able to make it into Crete until about 8:30 and nobody was at the Country Club. I went out to Paul's...thought maybe the bonfire started early...nope. So sorry I missed everyone, I didn't have anybody's cell number to get in touch. Great to see you all Friday, sorry I missed out Saturday!

We wondered where you were.
Even though we collected enough money the
CC couldn't get the game to work so we went to Suite 10 or MyBar or whatever its called now to watch it. I left there around 9pm so I'm not sure how late everyone stayed there. It was good seeing everyone!!

ie:)) Not sure if this will work but try this link to see photos....

Becky, you did a great job with the planning of our reunion. It was nice to see everyone happy and doing well. I'm looking forward to 20!

Becky Bargman (Odvody)

So good to see everyone, and sorry I missed some of you...a big THANKS to all who helped out!

Jeremy Slaven

We had an awsome time at the reunion! It was really good to see ALL of you. I think I drank about 60 beers last weekend so I appologize for anything stupid I may have done.

I travel up there all the time so it would be nice if everyone kept their profiles up-to-date, so I can get in touch with someone when we are in town. Thanks for a great weekend everyone and I look forward to seeing everyone again.

Michelle Koepp

I had a great time and did enjoy seeing EVERYONE! I wasn't sure in the beginning if I was even going to go but thanks to Cathy Novak (Hollman) and Jenny Younger (Satorie) they talked me into it and I had a great time. I would like to agree with Jeremy however in saying I drank ALOT of adult beverages so sorry if I did anything stupid. It is amazing how much longer hangovers last as you get older. I think I was hungover till 10:00 pm on Sunday. So, thank you to all of you for making it a great weekend and especially to Becky, Janna and anyone else who help put the weekend together. I have posted some pics from the weekend on Facebook and I think others have also so for any of you out there look me up and most likely I will approve you as a friend. :)
Later,
Michelle

P.S. Charlotte, I think you should teach those directions to your kindergarten class. "Students, when leaving a party, go left, left and then right and it will take you home" :) And John, of course everyone cares where you work! :)

It was wonderful to see everyone last weekend. We had such a great time! Thank you to everyone who took part in the planning...it was greatly appreciated.

To those of you who listened to me vent about our disaster trying to get to Crete...Thank you! Would you believe in the mess of Friday/Saturday in ATL, Delta cancelled our tickets for the flight back home on Monday?! Thankfully they are much nicer in Omaha!

Take care everyone and hopefully I'll get to see some of you again before another 10 years has passed!
