We appreciate it Emily, $50 a ticket is a good price. Just let us soon as you can.

That is a great price but it also depends if the game is a day or night game. I doubt it will be posted for a few more days. If anyone has some insite, let us know otherwise I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens. :)

Mr. Burns, if I come all the way up there, you better play some golf with me! Any day will be fine.

I'm currently trying to find a deal on plane tickets. I just found out the dates for the reunion about two hours ago and I just got back from NE on the 25 of August. Bad timing!! I think I will be there.

I would love to go the the Husker game if others are going! Let me know when, and how much. Thanks

My wife and I have possibly stumbled upon some free tickets. Not sure how many, I think only 2, but are people still interested in going to the game. We can all meet before for tailgate food and drinks.

fyi: The NE game is a 6pm game that night so it's probably not going to work since the dinner at the Crete Country Club starts at 5:30pm. Would have been fun though.

DAMN !!!!!!!!!

I have been told the game will be PPV. I know it's not as much fun as going, but I will call the CC and see if we can get the game there. I haven't tallied money yet but hopefully we'll have a few xtra bucks to cover it. I'll let you know!

Becky, for a bar to order the game it is huge money, in the hundreds of dollars, so unless they were already planning on having it I don't know if they will order it. Sorry for the bad news.

If the country club already has cable or satellite wouldn't it cost around $30 like it does for everyone else on PPV games? Another option would be to tell Tom Osborne about our reunion, I'm sure he'll hook us up with skybox seats and have all of us come out on the field at halftime.

I agree with Zac, I knew someone who owned a bar and he told me ordering a game on satellite would cost hundreds because of the people it attracts and the establishment makes money off of that fact.

Becky Bargman (Odvody)

Sorry peeps- I just called and it is $400! I guess we can listen to it!

I'm willing to put in $10-$15. Anyone else? I doubt everyone else will want to but it's worth a try.

09/03/08 10:40 PM #88

John Burns

41 members are attending the reunion according to the home page. If each couple puts in $15, we will have plenty of money to have the club order the game to watch. What do you all say? I am with Ryan, I will donate.

I can come up with money for that, hell Hailey has a savings account I haven't touched yet!!! I am currious on how many are coming saturday though since that would be the people putting the money towards it, and I am guessing that there are some who could give a crap less about the greatest football team of all time(o.k. personal oppinion), so they won't want to pay either, but as long as it is about 15 per Allum I am good with that.

I suppose this would be a bad time to tell you all that I'm now a Buckeye fan! :)

Will there be any designated drivers? Or is it BYODD? I'll pay $2.00 per mile.

$400 are they playing the game on the 18th tee box at the country club? I wonder why it costs so much. Well if everyone is down I guess I would be too. I can get kind of loud at things like this. I guess I will hope for a good game from the huskers and I won't have to drop any f bombs. This has the potential to be a let down game. Looking ahead to Va Tech.

I'm in for $15.

I am all for the game and will gladly pitch in money. However, I am going to be really busy with work and other reunion details. I can't be in charge of trying to collect more money. If someone wants to try and get money together for the game, go for it.

I am looking for a couple of large coolers to keep canned beverages in for Sat. night & poss. Sun. picnic. Can anyone help? Thanks!

09/09/08 02:27 AM #97

Dana Boulter (Bird)

So, are we watching the game on Saturday then? I see lots of people who want to, but nothing definitive. Just curious.
Becky, we have a cooler, it's not huge, but it can hold 24 cans I think. Let me know if you need it.

As far as the memorial goes, maybe we could all go out there sometime in March. It's hard with kids, gameday, work, and reunion all in same day. We'll all keep in touch and try to work it out for another day.

**Anyone volunteer for organizing the game yet??
Sorry-not it!
