Following graduation I played volleyball for the University of Nebraska for four years. During that time I gathered enough hours to graduated with a Communications Degree and a minor in History. I decided that after four long years of Phil following my dreams I would make the move to Omaha to follow his.
We lived in Omaha and got married in May 2004. I realized that a job in the corporate world was not for me, so I decided to go back to school to get my teaching certificate. I taught high school for two years while Phil finished up medical school.
The next part of our journey brought us to Gainesville, Florida where Phil is a Pediatric resident, and I am teaching 6th grade language arts.
