Rodney D. Rossman Born: March 13, 1957; in Illinois Died: April 18, 2014; in Eau Claire, WI Rodney D. Rossman, age 57, of New Auburn, WI passed away Friday, April 18, 2014, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, WI. He was born March 13, 1957 in Illinois, to Marjorie (Nicholls) and David Rossman. He moved to the Holcombe, WI area in 1990's. For most of his life, Rodney worked as a logger, until retiring due to his health. Rodney enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He also loved being with his family, especially his grandkids. He is survived by his daughter, Noell (Tom) Ryder of New Auburn, WI; his son, Jacob Rossman of Conrath, WI; two sisters, Colleen (Mike) Roth of Woodstock IL., Dannette (Jim) Clem of Wonder Lake IL; a brother, Russ (Leanne) Rossman of Wauconda, IL; grandchildren, Izaha Rossman and Levi Ryder; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Randy and Ryan Rossman. A funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday, April 25 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls, WI with the Rev. Robert Hoekstra officiating. Burial will be in Windridge Cemetery in Crystal Lake, Illinois. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral chapel.
