Michael (Robbin) Capehart

Michael Robbin Capehart passed away Sunday, July 12th at his home in Red Oak, Texas.

Mr. Capehart was a retired lighting design technician and until 1999 was active in the Dallas County Democratic Party.

He fought in Viet Nam with the First Cavalry. Among the medals he received were the Purple Heart, the National Defense Service Medal, and the Vietnam Gallantry Cross. He was a lifetime member of the First Cavalry Division Association.

He was preceded in death by his father James, sister Joanne, and brother James (Dick). He is survived by his wife Kathleen, stepsons Brendan and Kevin Jefferies, his mother Peggy Capehart, and sister-in-law Mary Jane Capehart.

A memorial service was held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, July 22 at the Dallas Forth Worth National Cemetery.  It was attended by several of Robbin's St Cecilia classmates.
