I did not see any of the music us kids were listening to in 1989 on the homepage, like the Pixies, Bob Mould, Butthole Surfers, New Order, Bad Religion, Robyn Hitchcock, Love and Rockets, Black Flag, Mojo Nixon, The Cure, The Misfits, Dead Milkmen, Sonic Youth, The Smiths, and so on. Surely Force One productions will have these on hand at the reunion.
Every time I hear "Time in a Bottle", I think of the Weird Al Jankovic version where he sang, "If I could make love to a bottle / The first thing I'd like to do / I'd search the world over to find one / that had the exact same circumference as you..."

I enjoyed driving with the pedal to the metal in the Driver's Ed simulators with the e'er unobservant Mr. Guthrie overseeing the class asleep in the back of the room. I had a crush on Ms. Loper until she gave me a "B" in algebra, then it was, "Hello, Mrs Holcomb!" There is a special place in my heart for Mr. Twiggs, whose difficult personality I have come across multiple times in my career, usually as an annoying copywriter. But godammit I know how to speak the prologue of Chaucer's "Canterbury Tales" in ye olde english to this day. If I had [gasp!] to do high school over again, I would walk up to Hope Bryson and kiss her with all the mad passion I boiled over for that girl. After that, I would smack Dr. McMillan on the ass and strut onwards to my first period class.
