After graduation I attended Ole Miss in Oxford, MS. I was a cheerleader all 4 years of undergraduate. I received a BA in Education and immediate went on to receive a Master's degree in Educational Psychology. I was married in 1996, and moved to Jackson, MS where my husband attended Physical Therapy School. After that, we moved back to Oxford, MS where we have been since. I worked as a School Guidance Counselor after graduation in both the Elementary and High School settings. Most recently I worked at Oxford High School for 5 years before deciding to stay at home full time with my babies.......Something I never in a million years thought I would be able to do, but I love it. It has gone by entirely too fast! My husband owns his own rehab company, with 3 clinics all in the North MS area where we live. We truly love it here, and we are still very involved with both the University academics, activities, and sports programs year round. Anything Ole Miss, we are there. I stay involved with church and pretty much run a "Mommy's Taxi" for my children who are involved with school, sports, and dance activities.........also year round. I love being busy and I am just enjoying being a hands on Mommy while I can. I plan on returning to work outside the home once all 3 children are settled into school for a year or two. I just CANNOT stay home alone, not for me. I think that is about it in a nutshell, so to speak. Some things that keep me busy, besides my kids, that I really enjoy doing is running, working out, and hanging out with my friends (which also keeps a stay at home Mommy sane).
