After working for the VA for 24 years while in Dayton, I was very upset when I came to charleston because the Va had a hiring freeze. I evenutally was hired by the Charleston county schools. I am a child specific nurse. I sit with a 9 Y/O boy, while he is in school, who has Cerebral Palsy, who is in a w/chair with a trach in his neck and a feeding button in his belly. It is the most enjoyable job I have ever had. The hardest part of this job was to accompany my student to the Disney on ice show and sit in the front row. aint God Good!!!!!
