While moving things around in the living room, I disconnected the music hard drive from the laptop computer and now all I get is a "broken link" message when I try to play music.

I'm a little concerned because now I can't play Manilow. I really need to fix this problem.

The cold temps we are feeling is President Bush leaving office. He decided to make it really warm in the US for his last few days as a goodwill gesture to the American people so, of course, we get fidgid, polar air. Congrats!

I hope he takes his fridged economy with him! Good riddence!

I have barely been online at all the last couple of days, & signed on to 7 of our graduates requesting friendships from facebook. I just really don't like facebook, maybe it's because myspace it more user friendly, lets you explore more? Facebook just seems to be more restrictive?

So how is all handling these fridged weather? It's sure seems like it hasn't been being on the computer? Me, personally would love to be in bed, under the covers watching TV, but instead have been REALLY busy at work. Now helping out at my past employment as well, they fired their social worker, & I am standing in part time till they find a replacement. I am really missing my computer & nap time!!!

Plus cleaning up after my daughter's birthday gift...Meela, yes she named it Meela. Guess that's better then Tamanga what she orginally wanted to name her.

Hey April, I think someone spammed you on facebook. I'm not sure who, I just remember getting a notice that said A friend suggested you know April, so I clicked the link. That's probably how you ended up with 7 new friends in one day. LOL

That's ok Debbie, they are all people I like at least...LOL To bad all spam can't be like that.

Hooker. I was telling some people about the speeches you use to give after our pee wee games. I miss those days. You should get on face book and start a profile. You can get in touch with a ton of people you may have lost track of over the years. Hope to hear from you soon Preacher.

Bubba Lou Loves You!!!

I loved playing on Mr Hubert's teams back in the day. We had a kick-ass All Star lineup each year: Hubert, Campbell, Flohr, Gallinat, me, you, etc. The tournaments were the greatest. I remember getting drilled in the arm by a Chris Voice fastball, and it left a marking from the stiches. Ouch! Although, I think I threw a faster fastball (ha).

I know Dan, I feel like we're lossing the love here? Or is it just to cold to type, or just to busy? I know in my case it is a combination of working, being to cold, & now trying to pull off everything with a sore throat. This is the worse winter ever! I do so miss our indepth afternoon discussions!!! Love & miss you'se...Tracey, Shannon, Robert, Dan, Gwen, Michele, Carla, Tara, Bill...etc for those who stopped in from time to time.

Been busy. Husband comes home tomorrow so I need to finish my home projects.

Good News! Last Friday Gov. Granholm & Co. signed into law the bill requiring all massage therapists in Michigan to be licensed effective immediately.

Now Dan will be sure NOT to confuse me with those tarts on Michigan Ave in Inkster.

I miss staying at the hotels on Mich Ave w/ the hourly rates! Hell, I still hang out there. Do you remember that crazy beeyyotch (Alberta Easter?) that was killing people w/ her sons at the Bungalow Hotel in '87(?)? I was hanging out w/ Breck when the news broke.

I went in for an emergency MRI this morning. My sciatic nerve is killing me. I had surgery fours years and hoping I don't need to go back. I'll see the nuerosurgeon next Thursday. In the meantime, Vicodin and steroids. I hope I don't expereince any 'roid rage'.

Do you remember Ragin' Cagin? What the hell was that kid's name?

The girls left the house for about an hour, and I'm playing Hell's Bells at maximum levels!

Tracy: I just took your advice and put something more soothing on: Robert Plant's 'I believe'. It's beautiful.

You may just have a tight piriformis. Have you had an injury falling on your behind? Do you sit on your butt most of the day? ie office.
The sciatic nerve runs through the piriformis muscle in about 35% of the population. When the muscle gets tight, it pinches on the sciatic causing that lightning bolt sensation down your leg.
Get off the drugs and see a massage therapist. It may be a simple fix.
You can tell me to go blow now if you like. I happen to be of the opinion that surgery is rarely necessary. Of course I don't know your history.
Hope you feel better.
Too bad you don't live in Michigan, I would work out your behind! Like my fifth grade dream come true! (turning red now)

I just google'd ALbert Easter, and a story about Bill Proctor (Channel 7 popped up)...

A highlight of Proctor's career at WXYZ-TV was the coverage of the Alberta Easter hostage crisis at the Bungalow Motel in Inkster in July 1987. He was the first reporter to actually talk to Easter by phone during the standoff. Proctor secured a cease-fire where the police officers were being held.

Wow! Do you really want me to tell you to blow?

I sit about 50% of the time at work, but am pretty active when I get home. It came on quick and it's killing me. I'll let you know what the neurosurgeon suggests next week. I tried physical therapy a few years ago, and scheduled surgery shortly after.

I haven't slept since Tuesday night.

I remember that incident. Seems kind of common-place now a days. Sad.
Good thing we have beautiful music to help us get through.

I moved about 20 yards of mulch when we bought our house 5 years ago, and I know that's what prompted it the first time. Ouch!

01/22/09 06:59 PM #1814

Tracey Ulrich (Dawson)

Usually when someone tells me to do something I won't.

You should see a massage therapist. It can only help and will not hurt the situation any further.

I find most westerm trained docs and even physical therapists do not appreciate the effectivness of massage. It's too simple for them.

I am, of course, bias.

Ok, don't do it (ha).

I have to cruise, but will check in w/ everyone tomorrow. Good night and thank you for the advice/your opinion (seriously).

I'm watching The Office and this commercial comes on for Pepsi with music from The Who/My Generation.

How do you all feel about great rock music being commercialized? Generally I don't care for it. Occasionally it feels right like Bob Segar/Like A RockChevy ad or Eric Clapton/After Midnight for Michelob.

Hey Everyone, hope you are having a good 2009. I read back a ways, and am laughing, because I thought we were the only nuts who had our milk delivered in glass bottles! My Mom still does, and at Christmas, orders enough eggnog for all of us to take home. We always drank our egg nog with Canada Dry; both because Calders was so thick and because there were 7 of us, and it made it last a bit longer! Also, Town Club Pop was a Christmas tradition. My Mom would order a case or two, and we were in heaven...
