I remember this! Don't you love the "side saddle" security in the car behind?!

Hi everyone,

sorry I haven't been on lately. It has been very busy with the family and Easter.  Our Grandson and his wife and great granddaughter surprised us Sunday afternoon. We sat outside 6 feet apart from one another. They wanted to get out and visit with us. They are from Findley. It was a wonderful surprise.
Darrel's therapy's are going really well. He has a lot of good people working with him.  Our granddaughter and her husband are living with us until they go back to work. They both are laid off from there jobs right now. Tyler has experience in OT which is a big help on days OT isn't here to work out on Darrel. This will help a lot with his recovery. We are very thankful for all the help he is getting.  So far he is working very hard to get back on his feet.

Good morning,  Darrel is improving everyday. He is determined to get back on his feet.  He has really been very positive in doing what everyone as asked him to do. Our family has helped us everyday. I really am very bless that our kids and grandkids want to help us out everyday. Once the guys go back to work I won't have the help. I'm very hopeful by the end of the month Darrel will be walking by himself.  Right now Tyler walks in front of him to get him to straighten up and walk forward so he can learn to balance himself and that is helping a lot.
enjoy your day. Peggy

Hi, it's been a very busy schedule since Darrel's stroke. He was making progress really well.
Monday Darrel had chest pains and we found out yesterday he had a heart attack. They can't do open heart surgery at this time because he is high risk. He is another stint put in this morning at OSU.  I will be leaving here at 6:30 to be him before his surgery. It's been pretty rough, but I no the Lord will take care of hi this time and we will get thur this to. I appreciate everyone concerns and will try and keep you up dated on his progress.

Hi, Darrel had his surgery yesterday and is doing really good.
he had two stints put in the main artery and should be good for awhile.  He was to high of a risk for open heart surgery ,probably do that at a later time.  He would have to wait six weeks to do his therapy's and the heart doctor didn't want to wait on that because of his stroke. He can start his therapy next week. He has to rest four days and start therapy again. I'm very please with his doctors and his team that worked on Darrel. It was over two hours of surgery, but the out come is very good. He is just glad it's over and no more pain is his chest. Everyone take care and have a wonderful weekend.

Hi, Darrel is doing really well today, he got discharged and glad to be home. Took him a ride in the golf cart late afternoon. Stopped to see our son and family. We took his foster son for a ride in the neighbor. The baby will be 9 months on the first.  We seen them everyday when we are home. We babysit when they need us. Darrel loves this little as much as all the grandkids. He missed this little guy and our 4 year old grandson who is here everyday to swim, but Jenson always has to help or check up on his papa to see he is doing his exercises and doing what it suppose to. He is funny at times to. Take care and so far everything is going well.

Hi, everything is really going good for Darrel. Pleased with his progress. He still has a long way to go but improving everyday. We are all praying he will get back to normal  or close to get back to normal. No guarantees on his health. I'm just pleased on how well he is bouncing back. Everyone take care.

Thanks for your messages, Darrel is doing a lot better, still has a long way to go but he's improving everyday..  he does get tired a lot, but I expect that for now.  He is still loosing weight and now I got to watch that for the next few weeks.  He is doing great considering what he has gone through lately.
