Classmates,
Please let us know how things are going with you while the quaranteen is in effect. Consider telling us how you are keeping busy these days.

Hello everyone,

I am hunkered down with things as they are. This is nothing new for me as I've been under the weather with my recent illness. I'm just taking one day at a time. That's all we can do.

Always good to hear the "voices" from our class. Craig and I are doing our best to make our kids crazy with some home made videos. Sorry cannot post, one is a little R rated. SO many good movies on TCM and our walks keep us smiling at the neighbors. Prayers for all of you to keep happy!

To my classmates,

I have one more week to rest since I was in the hospital in Vegas.  I'm starting to feel better now, very rough time. Now I'm asking my classmates for prayers for my husband (Darre). He was taken by a quad Thursday night and had a mini stroke. So he was admitted to Mary Rutan and yesterday he had two more strokes and 2nd one the docto had one hour to give him medicine because he was paralyzed on the left side of his chest and arm. Bringing this hospital had no neurologist on site this weekend my husband was transfer to OSU Hospital. So far he is doing ok. Sad thing is I can't be by his side and keeps asking for me. He is in critical condition and they still won't let me be with him because of the virus I get it but this can be a life or death situation because no one no's when this can happen again. He keeps telling the doctors and nurses he wants to see me but they have to follow rules. We are working on getting me to stay with him. I haven't left my home until yesterday to say good by when squad took him to OSU yesterday.  If you know anyone that can help me to be able to see Darrel I certainly would appreciate.  Our doctor is trying to get me to stay with him because he needs me. Very confused and someone mention nursing home to him yesterday and he gave up and then had a stroke. So we let the doctors nurses to not to mention nursing home to him. I'm getting my home ready so everything is handicap assessable for him. My kids are helping me with that. If I'm not here they will continue until it's done. Ten years ago we made our bathroom, bedroom and kitchen so we could use wheelhairs and anything we could get around anywhere in the house. I'm asking for prayer to get Darrel through this ordeal and pray I can be with him at the hospital. Take care . PeggyBlanchard

Peggy we are so sorry to hear this news. I wish they could make an exception for you. We have a friendn with the same situation. Stroke, St. V's for last two weeks and she cannot visit. Now he will go to rehab in Montpeliar and of course no visitation there also. You will both be in our prayers. Hoping things work out somehow. xoxo
