Mary Holcombe Spearman

Moved to Cleveland after graduating from Defiance College 1969. Worked in child abuse and neglect for the County for four years. Then I worked for a methadone program for two years. Met my "to be" spouse there. I also worked at a drop in center counseling teens. Did a little singing in local bars with a group for a year or so. (Kept my day job). In 1978 I began working as a Probation Officer for Juvenile Court and retired from there in 2002 as an intake officer and Mediator. I still sing in three different choirs, two at church and one community based. Both my husband I volunteer at our local high school, Heights High, in the vocal music department.
We love to travel and have been in most states, England, Geneva, Switzerland, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Nigeria. We still have a travel trailer and move around the country, time and health permitting.

Going to the Dairy while working on the Banner. Choir practices and programs, plays, the Skylark. Arguments with Mrs. Barret. Had a lot of fun and learned a little. Didn't Ms. Edwards kick our behinds? She surged made my freshman composition class in college easy, though. More will come to mind as the day grows closer.
