Michael Glenn Heller, 62, of Delavan, passed away Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008, at
the Veterans Hospital in Madison. He was born on Oct. 17, 1946, in Elgin,
IL, the son of Glenn and June (Gossel) Heller. He was employed with Heller
Landscaping and Lawn Care in Delavan for many years. He was a member of the
Sugar Creek Lutheran Church in Elkhorn. He was a U.S. Army veteran, a member
of the Delavan Legion Post #95, and an honorary member of the Marine Corps.
He is survived by his parents, Glenn and June of Delavan; six sisters: Tammy
Heller of Delavan, Christy (Michael) Brahm of Darien, Penny (Bill) Stroud of
Delavan, Wendy Hanke of Delavan, Mary Lou (Keith) Kolls of Lake Geneva and
Paula (Ernie) Kraft of Delavan; four brothers: Glenn Ray (Joyce) Heller of
Lake Geneva, Lawrence Heller of Delavan, Doyle (Paula) Heller of Janesville
and Kevin (Carol) Heller of Delavan; also nieces and nephews. He was
preceded in death by his grandparents; and his brother-in-law, Tim.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, 2008, at SUGAR
CREEK LUTHERAN CHURCH in Elkhorn, with Rev. Gerald Petersen officiating.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the MONROE FUNERAL HOME
in Delavan. Burial will be at the Roselawn Memory Gardens in Delavan, with
full military honors. MONROE FUNERAL HOME, Delavan, is assisting the family.
