Benton "Benny" Lee James, age 67, entered into eternal life Tuesday, June 27, 2016 at Texoma Medical Center. Ben was born January 27, 1949 in McAlister, Oklahoma the son of George and Virginia Lee (Brummett) James. He graduated Denison High School in 1967, and attended East Texas University as an art major. Ben moved to Dallas after graduating from East Texas. He was professionally known as a commercial illustrator as well as a found-object sculptor. He will be greatly missed. Ben is survived by his father, George E, James of Bonham, TX; sister, Becky Campbell of Denison, TX and nephew, Gregory A. Chapman and wife, Eleana of Westcliffe, CO.
