I am always meeting someone from our class. My yearbook is handy so I can refer to it. For a short time in the '80's I worked at the Plano Fire Department and met Kirk Owen from our class, and his wife Andrea Mitchell who I already knew. In the '90's I became an EMT then a paramedic. My daughter Katie has followed in my footsteps, I'm so proud, and is an EMT now. I've had a variety of jobs all having to do with people and helping people. At the Sanger Crisis Center we run a thrift store which finances a food pantry for emergency situations and provides funds to help people with their utilities. I went back to college in fall 09 and became a senior. Never decided what major. But I love school. The general studies degree is tailor-made for someone like me. My husband has worked in electronics for many years, and has retired. Daughter Katie is married, has a daughter and two step children, lives in Bonham. Cody was in the Army and served in Korea and Afghanistan. He is starting his family and living in Denton. Some of you may have known my brothers, Jerry and Kenneth Lindbloom, who graduated in '72 and '74. Kenneth passed away in February 2012 from complications of liver disease. For fun I love to sing with the Denton Community Chorus and the North Central Texas Chorale, especially classical material--what bliss! I'm going to stop now because I want to check on all of you!
