Hi Kathy,
Great to hear from you and also see you in the girls get together pics. It's been a long time but I would recognize you anywhere. You know, people keep describing me as sweet which is great because, after all, who wouldn't want to be sweet. However, I would venture to guess that the people with whom I've lived and worked for the past 20+ years would probably have other adjectives which might not be so flattering...and Vince DeJesus called me Blabby Crazy Person ( Oh yes you did Vin) two weeks ago...and that's probably closer to the truth. But...I will keep striving to attain a level of "sweetness" so I don't let anyone down when we get together in person. I think probably everyone will want to sit next to me, don't you think???
Also, I'm not sure where Fountain Hills is. I'll have to find out...and let you know. It might be closer to Phoenix which is about 2 hours from Tucson where I live.
Kathy stay well. Hugs from me to you !
xoxo Lisa

Does anyone remember the mock elections we had at the end of senior year? I don't remember alot of them (Bill Kelleher definitely got Class Clown) but I wouldn't be surprised if Lisa got Class Sweetheart!

HaroldBuck Riedinger

I thought chris o'brian was class clown.

Yes, chris was class clown. When he won, he accepted his award by climbing over the piano. I remember dean doing a dance/split (saturday night live music). Teri May got nicest person (or something to that effect, which I agree with), and I got class clasher (I wore something wild on clash day). That's all I remember.

My Alzheimer's has definitely set in. I don't recall any of this. Were the girls allowed to vote? I do, however, recall my landslide win as homecoming queen!! oh wait..maybe not.
...and surely Harold was the funniest...was Kelleher even fully awake during those four years?
Bill you're pretty funny too. If we take a re-vote at the re-union, I'm gonna vote for C. Vallone as the funniest!
Keep Smilin'
Lisa
ps I'm spending too much time on this dang website! Gotta run. the vacuum cleaner awaits me.

Debbie-

How are you? Are you going to the reunion? If so, wouldn't it be fun to coordinate our flights out of Atlanta? We would sit and chat on the plane for 2 1/2 hours. I would love that.

P.S. - I agree with you that Lisa could very easily win "class sweetheart".

Lisa-

It's true . . . you really could! Let me know what you find out about "Fountain Hills".

Hi Buck! I got a bucket load of mulch put down before it started raining yesterday! Hooray for me . . . just in time!

To all: where in the world are Terry May and Chris O'Brien anyway?????

Have a good night! Kathleen

Hi,
you're right DEb, I do remember those elections. For the Girls I Believe ClassClown went to Murphy. I Remember Winning Class WIt. How strange.
Where is Maureen Murphy?

08/24/08 11:01 AM #493

Vincent DeJesus

Lisa- I wasn't the one that called you Blabby Crazy, you were. And I quote from your email "I think I could name them all if I continued to blab on and on...but I don't want you to think I am some crazy person."

But if the diagnosis fits...

08/24/08 11:01 AM #494

Deborah Kozak (Martin)

Kathy-

Yes- we've got our flight scheduled for Friday, I think it leaves around noon out of Atlanta! That would be awesome if we were on the same flight together! 2 1/2 hrs wouldn't be enough time though. Anybody flying thru Atlanta that might want to join us, join the party! We're doing good, how about you?

Its funny how everyone is remembering something different about who got class clown! Maybe it wasn't Kelleher, it could have been O'Brien or Murph. Looks like Alzheimer is setting in here too, but at least I remembered such a thing existed! We should do something similar for this reunion.....Lisa would get sweetest, Elmer would get most philosophical, Carol would get funniest (but Mary Grace would be a close tie there)!

Maureen Murphy lives in Atlanta. We are the closest of friends. She is great, she looks great and she is very happy.
If I ever post some pics,I'll make sure that I include one of us together.
I tried to get her involved, but she has no desire...sorry folks....
Have a nice Sunday.

Peace/KGB

Hey Kathy!

Since the weather was so cool yesterday, I decided to start laying my FREAKIN SLATE PATIO, that didn't look like such a big deal until I started trying to lift the 2' X 2' darn squares! Hopefully I can finish BEFORE IT SNOWS!!! And then halfway through, the puppy came home from vacation with my brother, and before I knew it, Hot tub time!
All the bruising should be faded by October, but I don't know about the blisters and callouses .... :P

08/24/08 02:14 PM #497

Kathleen Gallagher (Murphy)

Liz- You can't be serious about attempting to lay a "slate patio", or can you? KUDOS TO YOU!!!! I thought I was going to die just from laying a bucket of mulch, which, by the way, isn't really all that heavy! I hope you're having a great Sunday!

xo, Kathleen

Lisa,
The name of the church is St. Jude's in Hopatcong on Maxim Dr.

Thanks girls w/ your comments about the school kids...I do have a pretty good repore w/ the lil rugrats. I love what I do and its great to be around little develpoing minds. Yup September 4th is starting day...yip yip yippee.

Kevin too bad Maureen is such a fuddy duddy reagarding the reunion and this site...her loss I guess. I always thought tht she enjoyed her fellow classmtes but with you being so close to her and all and being a good friend of hers I guess you would know best. To each his own as the saying goes.

I think I was voted yippy-skippy girl...just kidding I do remember a mock vote, but I do not recall who got what. I think Bucky got the award for the biggest hairy guy....get it gorilla suit, hairy...I crack myself up!

Where in the world has Carol been...maybe living large on the lake now that the bridge is open..or better yet maybe she started redoing her bathroom...now that is a thought.

Maureen and Michael Jr., I hope you made it home safe and sound from the outerbanks and I hope that you had a great vacation!

Just incase any of you were wondering, I am not 1/2 in the bag when I am typing to you all, my daughter has informed me that the keyboard is acting up and even though you hit a letter or letters it doesn't always type it. What else could go wrong around this shack? I need myself a handy man! ok i guess I am all blabbed out..more later you lucky people.

Lisa-

Don't worry...I don't remember any of this either..

Myrtle-

Trust me...I have tried my best to talk her into it!
I tell her that everybody is asking about her...
Some times I even read her a post every now & then...
What can I say,I guess she's 2 busy?!?!?

TO ALL

It was really beautiful here 2day...HOT,about 93,but nice clear skies.I finally got to get some time in the sun and pool.Dom loves the pool.Especially 2day w/ the heat, his poor little paws were burning on the pool deck.
I got some good pictures of him.I didn't have anyone take us in the pool though.Yeah...I'll try to post some this week...I'll need help unfortunatly....pathetic,no?

I do believe it's happy hour (or Tea Dance as they say),so I'm heading out with my now sun blotched face.
Oh...I need to ease te pain......Peace/KGB

Oh,I forgot...

Elmer- I didn't know that history...very interesting.

My views seem to be most in agreement with the Eastern Church, who knew??
I think IT all depends on what you feel in your heart/soul....Some things just feel so true & genuine.
I'm reading "Ask and it is Given" by Esther & Jerry Hicks. They refer to these feelings of knowingness as,"God Moments".Ya know...like when you get goosebumps or tear-up or cry.
I describe them as mini epiphanies.Do you have moments like that? I would imagine that if I had the oportunities that you've had,I would have had many of these moments I describe.

Now I think I'd rather a nap than a beer.......zzzzzzzz

Myrtle I definatly didn't get hairiest man,I still can't grow sideburns, but I did get best laugh. Liz, go to home depot withthe measurments of your patio and the size of the slate and they will print you a blueprint of your patio. Kathy,I hope the mulch came out fine and didn't wash away on you.

Kevin,
Just out of curiosity, how did you come to choose "Dom" as your dog's name?
Also, I agree that Maureen will be missed. I think we should plan to call her from the dining room on Saturday night... Give her a little surprise!
Stay well. I hope you enjoyed your siesta or your cerveza whichever you chose.

mg - i'm here, i'm just pouting!! :o)

elmer - what kind of bourbon??

harold - i took a look at your website... very nice!! seems you may be one of the lucky ones that actually enjoys their work!! i see you offer a "tranquil retreat"... too bad it's only for 4-legged friends!!!

kevin & lisa - surprise, surprise.... i don't remember either!!!

debbie - do you need a ride from the airport??

on a general note: who the hell taught the 5 year old how to use ON DEMAND??? If I see or hear the Cheetah Girls new movie ONE MORE TIME......!!!!

08/24/08 09:37 PM #504

Kevin Barone

Lisa--

I haven't done either yet!
I'm not doing the beer thing...actually,I feel like going to Walgreen's (which are on every other corner here) and getting a bag of Twizlers!!!

Like, so much that right after this,i'm going to do just that!

I don't know if you knew that I bought 2 dogs. They were brothers, 1 black & 1 white miniature schnauzers.
I named them Dom & Nick ,after my father. He passed away almost 6 years ago.
Both of the dogs got Parvo Virus-I had no idea what it was.Their papers said that they had the vaccine for it & that it was good through July,15,2009.So I don't know how they got it,but they both did. They were in the hospital for 10 days and Nicky didn't make it.

So we've delt with that and Dom is my shadow now.We are very close.I still miss Nick, but that's the way it is.

So,ther,you have it...

Later/KGB

kev, what flava?? strawberry or chocolate?? now i want twizzlers!!!!

08/24/08 10:26 PM #506

Deborah Kozak (Martin)

Carol- I can just imagine the sense of humor your children must have! And how DID your 5 year old learn how to program ON Demand? My husband and I just recently figured it out!

You are so kind to offer us a ride from the airport, but we will probably rent a car since I don't think my brother will be able to steal away from work to get to us. But I dread the whole car rental thing.....Lisa will love this story! The last time we rented a car was in Arizona last year when we traveled thru the state and were up in Flagstaff, after touring gorgeous Sedona, we were run down by a group of drunk native American Indians and accidentally drove into a cement wall. It was a real fun way to ruin a vacation! (Arizona is still one of my favorite states of the ones I've seen!) Unfortunately, the last time I was driving back to the Newark airport, I missed our exit and ended up on the turnpike along with a million other cars travelling as fast as speeding bullets. Maybe Kathy Gallagher will ride with us and she can drive! My husband was born in Texas and will have to depend on his GPS to get us thru Jersey.

Liz-

You're off to a good start with your patio! Bucky's idea sounds like a great one, but I have a feeling you've probably already fixed your problem.

Kevin-

Strawberry twizzlers for me please!

08/24/08 11:45 PM #507

Kevin Barone

I got the strawberry Twizlers!!!!! Yummy!!!!

Carol,

How does a 5 year old work on demand????
You forgot to tell every one that Little Miss Haley Shae is smarter than your average little girl!!!!

With the personality & sophistication of a twenty year old....and NOW she's not afraid of dogs either!

Is she only 5??? I thought she was older...
She sure seems like it....XO
