hey there everybody! have a great holiday weekend!
kath, thanks for the offer of having my pat come and visit you and your pat - pat is 27; can you believe that? does your pat remember him from when he was little? how close are you to decatur? that's where he lives...and have you ever been to the biscuit? it's amazing - i love the food in atlanta...i'll have to ask pat if he's ever been to felini's... i was in buckhead last summer when we visited - we went to the cheesecake factory for dinner with some friends who live down there - seems my whole life revolves around eating...
debbie - happy anniversary to you and your husband! and next time i come to hot'lanta let's all get together at the biscuit for breakfast - i can't believe you've been there - their grits are so good, yum...there is also a store that i really like to shop at called "squash blossom" i'm not sure where it is but it's close to the "brick store" they have great clothes...so i guess my life revolves around food and shopping...
maureen - have a great time at the parade and carnival - some of my favorite memories are my father taking me every year to the parade and then the carnival and fireworks - i loved the "boontonware" stand where you had to pitch nickels and dimes onto the plates and cups and if it landed on one, you got to keep it - i can't tell you how many odd pieces of boontonware i must have brought home and my mother had to pretend to love it!!! they also had the best french fries in paper cones...
did everyone catch sean mulholland's profile update and how handsome he looks in his uniform? hey sean, glad to see you're still on the golf course - how is the rest of your family doing?
to all - have a happy and healthy labor day weekend and i can't wait to see you all in october -
and i'm sorry to report that i just found out ray won't be coming with me to the reunion - he will be on a plane to tulsa with j&americans that day - so we won't be getting any "special songs" - he said if he was home he would have played for us... love, marianne
