My nephew has transferred to the 82nd Airborne now, Looks like he will be jumping out of perectly good aircraft soon!! Just back from Vacation, Took the boys and my Wife on the Disney Cruise for a week. Now they are enjoying Disney World and I am home working, (I Hear I got the Better end of that deal!!) Bucky hope your Deadheads do well, My Son Christophers Soccer team were eliminated from State Cup in the Quarter Finals and his school team has won their Division at the Middle School Level. Who is going to Ellens on the 15th? and To the Fireside on Thanksgiving Friday (Black Friday!) Well thats my update for now. Tom

11/02/08 01:41 PM #1062     HaroldBuck Riedinger Hey guys, The dead heads won the championship in a dominating brutal thrashing of the other team. THey saved their best game for last. It's very easy to coach kids who want to win and to play as a team and not as individuals. Tom, sorry about Christophers soccor game, there will be other championships to play. Liz I'll send pictures of the party soon, but first I have to sit and watch 24 hours of football(NFL package)with a nice cold O'douls and my sons halloween candy. It just dosn't get better then that. Deb, my wife wasn't at the reunion she was in Poland at the time. That's why all the girls were hanging all over me, or was that a dream. Off to the games. Bubba

So, did you purposely ship your wife off to Poland so she'd miss the reunion? LOL! I'm sorry we didn't get to meet her! Tom, Yes, you did it right. The wife is at Disneyworld with the kids, without you? Smart thinking! I told my girls 2 years ago we are DONE with Disneyworld. Between the lines and the ridiculous sky high prices, no more! I'd rather bask in the sun on a quiet beach somewhere. And since we're talking about winning.....my girls' high school marching band (they both play the flute) has just set a school record. They won 3 Grand Championship Titles this season! Its been an unbelieveable ride and Don and I are whipped from all the shows we've been to. Don jokes about how he didn't get to have a boy that would set all kinds of sports records, so now he can boast about the records our girls' band just set! Liz- I'm with you, we need more pictures!

Not really much of a brain teaser, I know. The term I was looking for is “Conundrum” (defined below). co•nun•drum n. A kind of riddle based upon some fanciful or fantastic resemblance between things quite unlike; a puzzling question, of which the answer is or involves a pun. Sorry it took me a while to post. When he comes back, if he comes thru Atlanta, hopefully he'll get a Teddy bear from the greeters! Its the neatest thing to hear people applauding our troops as they come up the escalators from the tram. You should be so proud of him! My prayers are with him for a safe journey! Hugs!

My son didn't get out the other day, not enough seats. He had to stay over night and flew out yesterday afternoon. Thats pretty neat giving out teddy bears. If anyone else has off today and tomorrow..have fun!!

11/06/08 09:36 PM #1079     Deborah Kozak (Martin) JoAnn- Oh my gosh, I'm less than 30 minutes from the airport....I would have loved to meet your son and perhaps bring him some treats! The Atlanta airport is the busiest airport in the country, it can be insane at times. If either of your sons are going thru Atlanta again, please let me know. The same goes for anyone else who has family in the military. My girls love to bake and I'm sure they'd be thrilled to do a good deed for our men and women in action.
