Thank you Cheryl, Bez, Deb, Granny, and Jose' for the birthday greetings. The wife and kids got me an I-pod and now I have to figure out how to download music on to it. It says it can hold over 1000 songs. Is there that many songs even written to put on the thing. I'll believe it when I see it,1000songs my ars.I hope all is well and have a happy Thanksgiving. My wrestlers won't, because we have a tournement the next day.( I'm glad I'm the coach)or as they say it out here a turnement.

Buckaroo,
Happy belated birthday! Nice gift the familia got you. You don't have to figure out how to get music on it...you have kids and they know all that stuff. Just don't let them select the music. Here's my selection suggestions:
Janice Joplin
kd Lang
Johnny Cash and Brooks and Dunne,
John Cougar (I'm still not adding the Mellencamp part onto his name).
Guns and Roses ( yes I do like some of that old big hair stuff) Oh yeah and Meatloaf and the Eurythmics, Bruce Springsteen( gotta have the Boss Dancin' in the Dark) Amy Winehouse and some Toby Keith for good measure!
Enjoy. Hope you had a great day
xoxo Lisa

Buck Happy B-Day let the kids load the Ipod like Lisa suggested.

Lisa, How old are you? AMY WINEHOUSE, wow Nice range of music there. I like that.

Who is going to the Fireside next week? We need that fireside now, Brr it is cold in NJ now!!!

And Maureen, how many times have I had someone say to me in the Drive thru lane " this order i s to go correct?" while I was in the lane, Bright kids....

Lisa and Tom, your right about letting the kids figure it out. Some of my wrestlers were telling me how to download music illegaly, but you have to watch out for viruses, I told them i won't do it if I feel sick. They kind of looked at me a little wierd.Anyway this thing has 16 giga bytes and they said it will hold around 4000 songs. I might have to get out all my silk shirts and platform shoes and put some disco music on this thing. I know Dean D. would help me with my dance steps. Please just shoot me now!!!

Lisa,

You are so right about kids and technology. My 9 year old son just got an assignment in school for social studies. One part of it included making a power point presentation! I was thinking, "How the heck am I going to give him any guidance on that?" It wasn't due for a couple of weeks, so I wasn't in panic mode yet. He came up to me yesterday and asked if he could show me his "slideshow". Sure enough, he already had the power point done with no help from me or my husband!

Hope,
About a year ago I was asked to give a presentation to my colleagues and it was suggested to me that a power point presentation would be the way to go. YIKES! Thankfully, I had a University student working with me at the time and she got me started after a brief humiliating lecture which went something like," How in the hell can you not...." I said, "Hey Missy...Don't forget who'll be giving you your grade in a couple of weeks." Anyway, it was all in good fun and I opened my seminar with "Welcome to my first ever Power Point Presentation." The audience gave me a warm round of sympathetic applause for that one. The world of techno is challenging for me. Next time I need help, I'll be calling your little guy. Sounds like he's a chip off the old block Hope...and by the way, it was so fabulous to see you and of course Faith. I don't know where the time went but I didn't get to say much more then hello and I would have really enjoyed spending some time catching up. Hopefully, there will be a next time in the not to distant future, Hope. Stay well.
xoxo Lisa

Lisa and Kevin-
Feel free to borrow my kids for help on the computer anytime! They know how to do most anything!

I'm totally illiterate when it comes to their iPods and iTouch devices. I particularly dislike when they get into MY car (the car I paid for) and plug their i-whatever into MY stereo system and I have to listen to their music (at least they call it music)!

Bez and Margaret-
Still working on getting Donna's address. I think my sister forgot and now she has company. Won't give up!

Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving. We are staying home in balmy Georgia to give thanks this year. We served the homeless last weekend at the soup kitchen and boy is that an eye opener. So please please please everyone be thankful for what you have!

Hi All!
Happy Thanksgiving! My husband, Dan, posted some pictures from the reunion. It was such a nice weekend! Dan and I hadn't been away from the kids for any length of time for a just "us" weekend. We really enjoyed all the gatherings and opportunities to see so many (of my) classmates. Thanks again to the reunion committee. Take good care and stay warm!

Last month I wrote about how a drunk driver plowed down a tree in my yard and smashed my giant aluminum street light.
Today my wife and I heard a really loud BAM!!...Across the street the wind blew down another street light right across the road - almost landing on a school bus loaded with kids!
Five minutes later the wind blew a huge palm branch from my tallest tree right onto the hoods of my truck and my wife's car denting both nicely.
This used to be a quiet neighborhood.

If you come to visit, maybe park up the street.

Well Greg...Happy Thanksgiving!!
At least the kids in the school bus are safe.
And aahhh...what's a dented hood or two in the scheme of things?

Happy TG to all!
Enjoy the blessings that we are so fortunate to have!!!

Just got back from my second Madonna concert at Dolphin Stadium,Miami.
Second row this time!!!
Maybe next tour I can sit on the old broads lap!!!!
Yeah,right...dream on!

Peace/Kevin

HI!!
A belated Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, and happy belated birthday to the Nov babies!!! Bucky's oldest again?!?

Sorry I missed the fireside... I was looking forward to catching up before being overtaken by the Christmas "fever"!!! Unfortunately, my daughter ended up catching some sort of stomach virus!!

Looking forward to Kevin's get together in a few weeks though!!!!

HI All!

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I cooked and ate too much, but it was fun. I am so sorry I missed the Fireside get together. Two of my children had soccer tournaments throughout the weekend, beginning Friday-why in God’s name do they do that. And we froze!!!

Tom, Cristian played down in Holmdel, not Howell. 3 games in one day. It was a long one. They lost two and tied the last-6-6. It was intense. Great fun. How did your son do?

I miss you all. I have not been able to do very much here, but it IS good to hear you all. Be good! Happy Birthday to ALL!!

Someone post pictures of the Fireside. Would love to see you!

Ciao! Cheryl

Oh! Debbie, I do not know when I might be coming your way, but I will definitely let you know. Likewise, give me a ring when you come up!

Jean Marie, I have wanted to write you. I still feel so badly about your break-in. I hope you are doing better now.

Good luck to all with those Ipods. My kids know all about them-It is beyond me. We just have too many things to think about...someday!

Hello Cheryl,

Christopher Lost all three games, they don't do well at tournaments this year. Last Game was best 2-1. They are ranked at the 9 best in the state, they played numbers 1 & 8 from NJ and number 4 From NY. We weren't far from you he played at St. John Vianney in Holmdel. I know it was a Howell tournament but they had 150 teams and we got flight at SJV.

Cold but FUN, Friday and Saturday.

Yeah, soccer tournaments over thanksgiving are crazy! But at least ours was warm - my 14-year old played at disney. We had to go there thanksgiving day. Regina and my other daughter drove to ann arbor to spend thanksgiving with regina's sister and family. I put karina on a plane home on monday and now I just landed in brasil.oh, it's warm here too ;-). Hope everyone enjoyed thanksgiving - ours was different, but still fun. Karina's coach got thrown out the first game, so I'm hoping we don't get invited back next year so we can stay home. Apparenty disney doesnt like when the coach screams obsenities at the refs! Go figure... Bill

These tournaments are almost like going to the Thanksgiving Day game, except much longer and the Biting cold, this is the first year that We attended that it was above 30 degrees.

Love watching my Sons play and it is good memories. However, I want to try that thanksgiving tournament in Disney next time, like you did Bill.

Now need to get ready for the Christmmas Holiday (I don't celebrate mid winter recess.......)
