MaryGrace - thanks for the kind words; and Maureen and John - great job getting this follow up reunion part 2 set up. It was a perfect day for a get-together and we all enjoyed it immensely. It was also Fresh Air Fund day for little city-born and Brooklyn-raised Katie and she went nuts getting on a real fire truck and chasing bubbles in the grass. Really great to see all who showed as well as meeting the kids of the Class of '78 parents- makes the heart glad! I'll post pix too - we have some good ones!!

Myrtle

Didn't you get enough of the Social Studies and Science in School already.

Saturday was great, when I told my boys about the Hot chicks there and the game of kick ball they wanted to know when we were having another.

I told them they weren't invited.....

Maureen thanks for everything, talk to you all soon.

Sounds like everyone had a blast at the bbq! Sure wish I could have been there!

Greg N....I do have a picture of the pig's head! And if you can get a whole hog for .89 lb, thats a deal. I believe we paid 1.99 lb. It was cooked on an incredibly large grill that had to be towed to the sight. They started it around 6am and it was done by about 6pm. Needless to say, they tapped the keg at 6am too, and by 7pn it was practically dry! So i believe the pig roast idea was just a way to drink beer all day!

Maureen F and Mary Grace- glad to see you've surfaced again!

Hey

Just started rereading some of the postings from the prior year. what a site, I laughed and it brought back all good memories. I think it has been a momentous year for us all, whether you liked MCHS or not many chnges this year.

Can't believe we have had a drop off in postings here I know everyone is busy in their lives with kids entering College (Deb) and some of us are becoming Grandparents now.... imagine that.

I keep thanking Cheryl and Maureen, John, Marygrace Liz and others for getting us all back in touch. I have talked to some of you more in the last year than in all 4 years at MCHS (Liz). Hope all is well and I think Elmer I could use some of those philisophical postings of yours...

Tom -Ditto on everything you just said! A huge thanks to Bez, Cheryl, John, Liz and everyone else who worked so hard to get us all back together. The website has also provided a great support system for many of us allowing us to share stories and offer hugs, kudos, congrats etc. I've treasured the many notes of wisdom and advice you and my fellow classmates have written. Now if I can just figure out facebook, I'll be all set!

Graduation is over and now the real bills begin...housing contract, food contract, yikes! Will enjoy the three more years my youngest has in h.s. knowing college will be here in a flash!

Tom, it is so funny that you should mention about reading some of the original posts because I as well did the same thing the other day. I am also very thankful for this site.

I still have more pics to post from last weekends bbq but I just had to post some pictures of my son from today - it's prom night - and they are off to Perona Farms on the "party bus".

I hope that everyone is enjoying their weekend. It is quite beautiful here today and the same is in store for tomorrow, but I may have a houseful of kids here tomorrow for an after-prom party. What we won't do for our kids.

Hi everyone, Good to see we're all still talking. I love being in touch with all of you here and on FB. I'm sure the BBQ was a lot of fun. That handsome devil Pat Gleason is having another little one I hear. Congratulations to you and your wife Pat. Isn't Mary Anne Mullin still a babe...she's another one of the hot chicks Tom was mentioning along with those hotties Nancy R. and Mary Fisher. The Hopatcong girls ,of course, are just too hot to handle. I wouldn't want to fail to mention the gorgeousness of Mrs.Como and family nor the outstanding good looks and personality of my locker buddy Tom Cornine and the still boyish charm of Mr Pascarella. I hope flattery will get me somewhere!!!
Myrtle , make sure the pool is really filthy so Bucky will have to be there a while skimming and so forth!
Hey Buck, did you have your anniversary vacation yet?
Stay well all and hopefully we'll talk agian soon.
Maureen F. Those housewives in Nj crack me up!

Hi Lisa,
We are leaving this Sat. for Aruba. I get to try out my speedo there before I show Myrtle.( Some things are better tested outside the country). My numbnut of a son, who is graduating 8th grade tonight got into some trouble by jumping out the back of the bus with all of his buddies. They were almost banned from going to graduation, but there were so many of them that did this, the school changed their minds. I think I did the same thing back in the olden days.( plus things I can't tell him until he is 30).
See ya, Buck

Bucky- Gee, just like his old man! No seriously, hope he was ok! Kids just have no fears. Post some pictures from Aruba in the Speedo plllllllllllllease!

Congratulations to those who are celebrating anniversaries, children‘s proms and graduations. You must be very proud! Thanks for sharing your pictures -- they really reflect the wonder of these joyful occasions. Your families are beautiful.

Bucky - hope you and your family have a great time in Aruba. Perhaps you can enjoy a day trip to Curacao for some sightseeing and a blue beverage.

Thanks to Bez and Tony Savino for reminding us of our prom. After seeing the pictures, I’d rather forgetaboutit.

Maureen, What's a blue beverage? I have to admitt that I have'nt been in the loop for a while but I will be out of country and almost on the other side of the equator, so maybe I'll give it a try.
Deb if you want to see me in my speedo you have to come to N.J.

Bucky,
Pretty much anything with the blue curacao will be juuuuust fine!! Have a great time!!! I'm so jealous, Aruba is my favorite place!!!!

Lisa,
Nice one with the dirty pool comment!!!! Good thinking!!! You always were a genius!!! By the way, flattery will get you at least a week on Marne Road whenever you're in NJ!!!

MG,
Don't worry if you see/hear anyone prowling around in the bushes while Bucky's cleaning your pool..... it'll be Liz, with a camera!!! :o) She'll post some pics for you Deb!!

I've been "off-island" for a bit and away from my computer. Good to see all the new pic's.

I think a blue beverage is when you leave an open beer out in the sun for a good while and it turns to blue cheese. Buck, you try it first and let us know.

Greg I'll let you know how it tastes. It's probably not as bad as leaving a beer out for a while and coming back for it and not realizing it was used for an ash tray.
see ya
