I graduated from Univ of Iowa in 1971, the next day I married Penny, and 6 days later I started law school at Drake University. I graduated with honors in 1974. My first job was with the Iowa Attorney General's office where I defended the State in lawsuits. In 1977 we moved to Scottsdale where I took a job with Uhaul International where I worked for 10 + years. I became general counsel in 1980. I left Uhaul to go into private practice and developed an insurance defense client base. After 6 years State Farm asked me to join their legal department. I worked for them for 23 years. I had in excess of 125 jury trials. I "retired" in 2014 but was requested to start dong private mediations and arbitrations.
Penny and I travel extensively either abroad or in our motor home. We traveled about 1/4 of last year and I did mediations or arbitrations when in town.
I am a Judge Pro Tem for the Superior Court, which I have been doing for 16 years.
We keep busy and really enjoy our 5 grand girls Emma, Delanie, Brynley, Colleen, and Sara.
We had a wonderful time at the 50th and enjoyed catching up with all the fine ladies and gentlemen that our schools produced. Quality people!

School Story

Loved the pep rallies, dances, and homecoming. It was great to see coach Jim Williams develop a solid program. I really enjoyed my old brother Jim play football! Lot's of nice memories
