I miss Erika and Andra, and think of them often. I have fond memories of Erika from youth group at church and some funny pictures from all night Rock-A-Thons!
Erika and I went way back to early grade school. My fondest memories of her are from piano lessons and recitals, shows and choir concerts, and how we struggled through gym class together (eventually receiving the "Bobsy Twins" award during superlatives). I was shocked to the core when Erika and Andra passed, but whenever I think of them, it's always with a smile.
Erika was a true friend with an infectious laugh and a great sense of humor. I always smile when I think of her because she will always be "Orange Erika" thanks to the lovely pancake makeup used in all our shows, and because she was also the best stud detector in our group.
Erika will always be an important part of my life. Her eyes and her smile still melt me in pictures and in memories. Her fun and loving personality proved a model to live by. She still makes her way into my dreams. I wake up happy to have been able to talk with her again and sad that it had to be in a dream.
I remembered recently that Erika had convinced me that "stooge" was the term for "person who turned another person's sheet music pages while they played the piano". All through Jr High and High School we alternated as piano accompanists for orchestras, choirs, and soloists, so each time one of us had to play, the other would say "I'll stooge for you". I remember after one choir concert probably junior or senior year, one of the parents came up to us afterwards and said how he enjoyed watching us play the piano, because we looked like we were having so much fun. The truth is, we would sit there together and crack each other up through each song by whispering jokes and sarcastic comments... Such memories! :D
I remember running from my house to hers mickyds to the other side of school ( ohare side) just becuase she said she heard some one in her house. wow she was a great friend. I cant believe shes gone but she will never be forgotten
Erika will always be missed by her MW friends. I think of her often, and it is always with a smile. She had a truly generous and thoughtful spirit. Miss you, Erika and Andra.

Erika was smart and talented...and loved by many. I was good friends with her sister Andra. They are both sorely missed and always remembered.Nicola Hardy (Danegger)
