I retired from Beaumont Hospital in 2007. Then worked for Dr. Harvey Komorn as a Medical receptionist. At this time, I am looking for a part-time job in a medical or dental office.
I volunteer at Friendship Circle during the school year in the Life Town Center.
I am very involved in Temple Israel. I have sung in the choir since 1980. Attend the monthly Rosh Chodesh group, sisterhood torah study and Mussar classes. I am also on the social action and terrorism comittees. I'm a member of Glennwood ORT chapter and Hadassah.
My priority, of course, is our 3 grandchildren. Being with them brings a joy and freshness to life. There is so much that is negative around us. So many illnesses and losses of close family and friends. When I need a perk me up, I arrange for a grandchild "fix".
I can't believe it's 50 years since we graduated and I'm almost 68 years old. In many ways, I'm still that teenager attending Mumford High.
