Most of what I know about Ron Kossejda is through my older brother Tom.  Ron was an extremely talented self-taught guitar player.  He was quiet and humble as his music career grew.  He played in the band "Savage Grace"  in the 70's in California and became known in music circles as Ron Koss playing with John Sebastian and back-up for Cher.  He eventually returned to the Detroit area and passed away in 2004 at the age of 57.

Who would have thought....Ron lived two doors down from me and I always thought he was older. Played for hours in his basement and you could hear their music in the summer nights. My youngest sister hung w/his sister and she said she spent hours in their basement listening to his group of guys and their band and eating fabulous Polish food that his mother would make.  Not surprised that he was so successful in his music career. It really was his passion in life. Sad to hear his life was shortened at such a young age.
