Okay, this posting is for the females.  I've discovered a new author Judith Henry Wall.  I just checked out the remaining book by her in the TC library.  I love the way she writes, and three of the books I have read by her have Texas connections.  Her characters are well developed and so real that I'm busy casting them for the movie version of the book while I'm reading.  At the moment I'm reading The Surrogate, and I literally had to force myself to put it down last night so I could get some sleep.  My favorite so far is "Love and Duty" which is set in New Braunsfels.  Please note I'm only suggesting her books for the ladies--heavy chick lit!
