CLASS of 88 - THANKS for including me. I had a wonderful time seeing you all again. SOME of you haven't changed a bit - Todd, Alton, Chris - thanks for reminding me how naive I actually was.
I still want to know where Monty Parham and Kenneth Wyatt were.
And please. . . include me on the cruise. I have always loved the sun and water! and I am a great chaperone, as long as you stay out of my room.

Maybe by then, there will be a ship leave out of Whippernock Marina. A cruise sounds like a lot of fun.
Connie, leave Kent at home with the horses!

Sunday Service was outstanding! I did not even try to fall asleep! I even caught myself tapping my foot! LOL! That’s ok about the length, my butt was sore and I had to pee like a Fire Truck, but it was worth it.

I really enjoyed the whole weekend. It was wonderful to seeing everyone that had shown. I missed the ones that couldn’t make it, however there is always next time! Four months was not really a long time to get everyone together. We have less than five years now, I reckon we need to get start the planning process!

Oh, can we get a cruise ship that we can fish off of while we out there??? :-)

Tara Im sure you and Shean can share a cabin :) Steve all the fishing is done on the boat You just need to know what bait to use to get that pussy cat :) but its hook and release :) (you know hit and run)

It was so nice to see you all Saturday night. I wish that I had had time to visit with all of you. I have wondered what you all were doing, and it was great to see that you all have become well-adjusted, productive adults. . . well, for the most part! After reading some of the postings, I may have to adjust that impression.

Thank you so much for the beautiful engraved clock. I have reached the point in life that time is passing much too quickly. I will think of you all every time I check the time. You are truly a special group of people, and I am honored that you remember me!

Sherri Lynn, you stepped up and worked hard; thanks for your dedication and all you do. We appreciate you.

Andrea, you have hung in there and have been very committed, keep the faith.
Katrina, you did a marvelous job Saturday night in support of our Scholarship Fund. I am pleased we did so well in our first attemp. Let's keep up the good work.
Yvette, you can be organized when you want to be. I have enjoyed our reunion and being able to talk with you more often. You have done a marvelous job.
Alton, I didn't get my burnt hot dog Saturday, but I know you will hook me up next time. It has been a pleasure working with you.

Classmates, let us support each other, and our Reunion.

Maybe we can have some type of social event/fundraiser each year for the scholarship fund and the 25 year reunion. That way, we'll get to see each other and come out of our pockets with less $$$ in 2013. Looking forward to seeing you all at the next meeting. (I bet Rodney is grittin' his teeth every time he sees the words "next meeting") LOL!!!

By the way Shari, did we have any more left over? (Stop trying to throw stuff at me guys - just thought I'd ask!)

09/23/08 09:50 PM #1063

Judy Abernathy (Bolden)

Katrina, I think that is a good idea, if I can help let me know!

09/24/08 06:55 AM #1064

Shari Lynn (Andres)

It looks like we had a little over $700 left before the scholarship money was deposited. How long are we giving the businesses to get their pledges in? Who has that list?

09/24/08 09:32 AM #1065

Kelly Wilson (Evans)

Sounds like you guys had a great time. I had intended to be there Saturday afternoon but you know how last minute things happen to change even the best laid plans. Rodney, if you only knew how many productive hours I've lost at work with the accumulated time I've spent catching up through the profiles! Oh, well, I have an understanding, flexible boss. I will continue to check in from time to time to see what's new. Sorry I missed it this weekend.

09/24/08 09:40 AM #1066

Andrea Williams

Ditto to what Walicia said, it was great working with you guys (Rodney, Steve, Shari, Tara, Shellie, Alton, Lisa,Yvette,Trina, and Tonya).

I say we start with the Iron works tomorrow night. Its the final one. Anyone up for it?
Rodney did you get my email?
Also with as many cameras that were going off everywhere there should be alot more pictures to view. Does anyone have one of me and Tina? I love that girl.
