Jeff Wagner - 76

Competed in track & field, cross-country, and long distance running at the high school, collegiate, and open-elite levels until the age of 31. Was a member of the state-ranked 1975 Thornridge cross-country team and nationally ranked college cross-country teams at Eastern Illinois University (including the 1977 NCAA Division-II Champions). As a post-collegian, ran 2:24:46 at the 1981 Detroit Marathon and 2:25:25 at the 1982 Grandma’s Marathon in Duluth, Minnesota, and won more than 35 road races throughout the midwest.

Fondest memories: Segment workouts at Veteran's Park, 100 x 100 workouts (Duncker's favorite workout), running a 59 second 440, losing to the 1975 State Champion Bloom team 27-28 in a dual meet, Green Lake workouts.
