How many of you people don't realize that we are on very DANGEROUS ground havin a president that sends a sissified video to Iran???????

They responded(for those of you that don't have the time to find out)with a
pledge to turn on the country's nuclear power plant this year.

I'm sayin now as i said b4,he's in WAY over his head!!!!!

Al Kostecki Soup or anyone who has knowledge of the Rivedale area. What was the name of the bar by the tracks on 144th Wife and I are playing bars from the past and neither one of us can remember the name. It wasn't to far down the road past Trophys. Called Billy and Mike and they can't remember. Thanls.

I am so sorry to hear about your MOM. Losing a job pales in comparison. I will keep her in my prayers. The list is getting long. I agree that govt need to provide certain services and level the playing field in others, I am just concerned they will over react as can they sometimes do. It would take alot to offend me and anyone offering thier opinion does not come close. I've said this before, it is a pity you did not attend Thornridge because I beleive we would have been very good friends, or at least it would have been fun to see you and Soup discuss politics. I wonder if you and Soup would have cheered or booed the peanut farmer when he visited Thornridge trying to get re-elected?? I got to admit it was cool seeing Marine 1 land at school.

Marty, to tell you the truth i spent most of my life not givin a crap about the leadership of our country!!!!

By not givin a crap i mean i was behind whoever was in office period!!!!!

It wasn't until i seen first hand,what the congress in bush's last two years was doing with fannie and freddie that i got big time involved!!!!

I'm am not and will never be "book smart" but when it comes to common sence im am well above the curve!!!!!

Phil,

Thanks for your words of encouragement! I'm sure we would have been friends at T-Ridge too, but I'm glad we're friends now.

About the Peanut Farmer, I'm sure I would have booed him. I WAS A DYEHARD REPUB IN HIGH SCHOOL!!! ABSOLUTELY LOVED REAGAN - until I got to college and was indoctrinated the other way. It's so hard to keep bias out of teaching!

Everyone,

I started Jenny Craig today with the goal of losing 40 lbs. I NEED YOUR ENCOURAGEMENT. While I am not really all that heavy (except to me), I need to make some healthy changes in my life, if I want to live a long one. Yesterday I walked 3 miles with my kids and today did 20 mins on the eliptical AND stuck to my diet as well. Except, I plan on having two beers tonight as a reward and intead of dessert.

While I was doing the eliptical, I also watched Biggest Loser on TV. While I find the show very encouraging, I HATE the title. NO ONE IS A LOSER BECAUSE THEY ARE BIG, though I know it's supposed to be a "play on words" of sort. It should be "BIGGEST INSPIRATIONAL LOSER!" or something.

Elisa Cullina (O'Neill) I got to be in the gym listening to the Peanut Farmer - I thought it was way cool to hear him speak but because of security, if we got to be in the gym we had to get there before he did and be seated before he arrived. So, I never got to see the helicopter land on the football field. That must have been COOL!

I'm home with a sick kid today. Haven't checked in here in a while. We've been a little slow, haven't we? Must not be a whole lot happening (or too much happening, and no one has time for this). My son played his first high school baseball game yesterday. He played shortstop and third (not at the same time) and he was lead off batter. It was cold as hell out there (the wind was wicked). Their team got KILLED 22-0.

Cherie Santelli (Kwiatkowski) Don't you love being called names by a machine, MJ? My son's baseball team had another game yesterday. Much better performance (much better weather, as well). They won 4-3. Next game is a doubleheader tomorrow in Waukegan, and it's supposed to be cold.
